Sarah and Maria arrived safely in Central Asia.  Upon arriving, they traveled for another 14 hours to get to their destination.  They traveled through beautiful scenery - over snowy mountains, rocky mountains, and small sandy mountains.  The towns are few and small and they found the people to be simple, calm, and rugged.  The main livelihood there is farming and livestock.  The food is tough meat, bread, seasonal fruits, and fermented horse milk. One missionary said that the country is much like Korea in the 1930s.

Sarah and Maria will serve as English teachers.  This week they started a summer camp for about 25 students and have many programs planned.  Please keep them in your prayers.
