Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.”

We praise and thank God for blessing our September Tyrannus Bible Academy with over 30 attendants. Our main presenter, b. Marcel, reviewed current scientific and philosophical debate on the subject of creation ex nihilo, Latin meaning “out of nothing”, and he led us through powerful and mind stretching truths. We thought deeply about, “Why does anything exist at all?”, “Has the universe always existed?”, “What is nothing?” and “What is creation from nothing?” His presentation helped us to understand how God could have created the universe out of nothing in the beginning. His presentation was so complete and compelling that there were very few requests in the question and answer period that followed his presentation. We then heard 2 beautiful and well thought out one-word testimonies from s. Rita and b. Nicolas. Finally s. Phil gave us a message of revival from Nehemiah’s time titled, “Stand up and praise the Lord”. Though the people of God had strayed from God in a serious way and their relation with God seemed to be hopelessly lost, God helped them to confess, repent and come back to him, the Creator God. Through Bible study of some brave young Israelite men they realized how they and their people had forsaken God’s covenant, love and purpose but God was willing to forgive their sins, take them back and restore them. The young people shouted in revival, “Stand up and praise the LORD your God, who is from everlasting to everlasting. Blessed be your glorious name, and may it be exalted above all blessing and praise.” This showed their relation was restored with the Creator God. As an attendant I was encouraged that God is raising brave young people who are finding forgiveness and life purpose in Bible study.
