Before meeting Christ I would suffer from anxiety attacks for 24 hours at a time and was not able to sleep because of my sickness (OCD). Whenever I would write I would keep going over the letters until the paper became ragged. And when I turned off the water faucet I would do it over and over again until it broke.

No one could understand my abnormal behavior. I avoided people and plunged into my own dark world. Even when I entered college my life did not change. Because of that I felt deep despair about my life. But Jesus my Lord came to sinners like me through a campus Bible academy. When I listened to the word,  “Father God’s love,” based on Luke 15, my heart burned and tears flooded my face because of God’s love.

It became the time of healing when my disease (OCD) started to disappear. God has set me free from all my sin, and filled my heart with new hope and passion for Jesus my Lord. Simultaneously, the next day of the Bible academy, I began to bring my school friends for the love of God. My life was tremendously changed from a slave to sin into a loving shepherd for campus souls wandering in darkness.

God blessed me to serve precious brothers in Christ: Sungho Park, Sunhyub Kim, Taewook Kim, and Hyuntae Kang through one to one Bible studies.

When the time came, God blessed me to establish a house church with a beautiful woman of faith and has raised three disciples through my family. By God's grace I acquired a Ph.D. I also obtained a postdoc position from Y nation and will be sent there as a missionary.

I pray that God may help me not to forget him who loved me and transformed my life, and enable me to serve God with all my heart feeding campus souls through the word of God.
