John12:24 "Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds.”

On Oct. 20, 2011 with the prayers of beloved Korea Staff shepherds, fellow coworkers, family members, friends, and relatives, our loving missionary Maria Jin went to her eternal resting place with the Lord. Sh. Paul Kim of Choon Chun UBF officiated the ceremony based on John12:24 at Kangwon Medical Center.

She finished her pilgrimage in life at the age of 51. She came to know Christ in 1985, established a house church with a man of God, Msn. Joshua Jin, in1992 and served Choon Chun UBF as an sacrificial and exemplary shepherd for the ministry raising two disciples, Peter Kim and Daniel Shin.  From 1993 to 2007 she served campus souls in Vietnam as a missionary wholeheartedly until she became sick. She suffered from breast cancer for about 4 years. She was called by God to heaven on Oct. 18th 2011.

Her life can be summarized in one word from John 12:24 "Very truly I tell you, unless a kernel of wheat falls to the ground and dies, it remains only a single seed. But if it dies, it produces many seeds." Her husband Msn. Joshua Chin took care of her 24/7 with love for about 4 years. She has a son Paul Jin studying in Univ. of Handong and will be in the military service soon. May God comfort her family members, especially for Msn. Joshua and her son to have resurrection faith and hope. May they have new strength to serve God and serve Vietnam campus ministry.
