“And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love” (1 Corinthians 13:13).

Last year, we had a question: if we continue to live according to our daily routine, can we expect something special after 10-20 years. We agreed that with our actual routines, if there are no miracles, nothing would happen.  Therefore, we decided to pray more than last year.  We especially prayed for the work of the Holy Spirit. From 4:00-6:20 in the morning, we repented, we gave thanks, we hoped, and we prayed. After early morning prayer, we looked at the shining stars and asked God for good things.

Until August, only one brother came faithfully to our Sunday worship service. One Saturday morning, M. Sarah proposed that we pray for five hours. We prayed together for five hours all Saturday morning. When we finished, we received an email from someone we didn’t know. One brother wanted to come to our Sunday worship service. What a wonderful surprise!  He joined our Sunday worship service and Bible study.  When we received this gift from God, it was a real joy to pray all Saturday morning expecting another surprise from God.

We prayed much for the Sunday worship service. By the grace of God, the Holy Spirit blessed our house church worship service with three brothers. For the Christmas worship service, God sent 12 people to our home and our small living room was completely filled with 16 people. Some of them were interested in Bible study. Now we are expecting something great in 2012.

I enjoyed my daily Bible meditation so much from 8-9 in the morning. I experienced a lot of good things from God.  At 11 in the morning, I often went out of my office in order to look at the sky for 10 minutes. When I looked at the sky, I remembered that God was with me. I thanked God. “Thank you, thank you, and thank you.” This is how I revive my faith in God and deal with any daily problems.

Last year at lunch time, I often went to a small park surrounded by many apartments near the office. There I counted the apartments: one, two, three, four… up to 100 apartments. Through this, I could keep our dream to see 100 house churches one day in Geneva.

Last year, God blessed Brother Yann to become a Bible teacher. He preached the gospel at Fribourg University and introduced two brothers to our Bible study.

Just before Christmas one evening, we distributed 100 Bibles as Christmas gifts at the University. Everyone received the Bible with joy and three of them were interested in studying the Bible.

M. Sarah continually served two powerful sisters with Bible study. She participated in evangelism four times a week by preaching the gospel and giving students more than 1,000 gospels books and DVDs. She is now famous at Geneva University since a lot of students know her. At Geneva University, we met a lot of international students from Asia, Europe, America, Africa, and even from Siberia. We don’t know where the seed of the kingdom of God will fly and bloom, but we are happy to spread the seeds of the gospel.

Our 2012 key verse is 1 Corinthians 13:13: “And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.” Many people live a busy life, but they ignore the three most important treasures: faith, hope, and love. For next year, we want to restore these three treasures through Bible study, prayer, and the Sunday worship service in order to become a source of blessing.

One Word: Faith, hope, and love
