I met my doctor yesterday and took a blood test to receive the 2nd stage of chemotherapy. The doctor said that I don't have any problem, but that I should postpone the therapy for a week because of decreasing neutrophils in my white blood cells.  Neutrophils are in the white blood cells and defend bacteria as the first line of defense when bacteria invade the body.  Through chemotherapy, not only is cancer treated, but also white blood cells are defended, so as a result my neutrophils get decreased.

I pray to restore my strength and weight and have normal neutrophil levels in order to receive 2nd stage of chemotherapy next week. I thank the missionaries and shepherds all over the world for their love and prayers for me.

In Christ,
Philip Lee
