Relief Achieved from 2011 UBF Worldwide Christmas Offerings

"In everything I did, I showed you that by this kind of hard work we must help the weak, remembering the words of the Lord Jesus himself said: 'It is more blessed to give than to receive.'" (Acts 20:35)

Praise and thank God for his compassionate love in the hearts of his people worldwide. Thank God that $168,817.88 was collected last Christmas from UBF world-wide for relief work in North Korea, East Africa, Thailand, Turkey, and many local relief efforts. $65,800 was sent to Pyongyang University of Technology to support a new computer room and medical clinic, $60,000 was sent through Christian Friends of Korea to support a tuberculous clinic,  $10,000 was sent to Thailand to aid repair efforts after severe flooding damage, $6,500 was sent through Executive Board of Tek (Assoc. of Protestant Churches, Turkey), to help the earthquake victims of Van,Turkey, $26,517.88 is designated for relief efforts in East Africa. Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift! (2 Cor 9:15) We thank all UBF coworkers around the world who participated in this relief efforts through their generous giving.
