Title: Father, Forgive Them
God richly blessed our joint Easter Bible conference this spring. We studied Luke 23 and 24, as well as Romans 6:1-4 and Psalms 25, 32 and 16. The messengers were Matthew Chiesi, Ben West, Priscilla Purevedorj, Sandy DuPree, Josh Wood, Alloch Burton, Ferdinand Larice, Stephen Han and Zechariah Lee. We also heard testimonies from Andrew Onaghise, Joey Rabchuk, Andrew Erdabayan, Luke Yang, Peter Kim and Natalie Kamberos. We conducted two baptisms, of Abraham Park, Jr. and Samuel Choi. We also conducted a team building exercise at the camp’s challenge course. St. Louis coworkers led the CBF program.
The program focused on seeking refuge in God and trusting in his forgiveness, so that we can lead others to take refuge in him, as well. The symposium on the Psalms made the message of Jesus’ death and resurrection very personal. Matthew Chiesi ‘s message on forgiveness really planted a vision of the power of God’s forgiveness in our hearts. Andrew E and Andrew O were powerful new contributors at our retreat. Andrew E is from Mongolia, Andrew O., from Nigeria. Their prayers and meditation on God’s word was an encouragement for all.
We had a great time of fellowship and renewed vision for ourselves as messengers of God’s forgiveness to this broken world.
