Today around 11am in Honduras right in front of the traffic light, a gunman shot at the car M. David & Elizabeth Kang were driving. M. David Kang who was driving the car got shot at his head and heart. He was transported to the hospital and the bullets were removed successfully. God spared his life. Two bullets entered his head and heart shallowly and the CT scan showed that the bullets didn’t penetrate deeply into his head and heart. But there is a possibility that his brain is swollen and may cause nausea and other effects, so he is being kept in the hospital for rest and more observation by the doctors. The doctor said he had never seen a case like this. He said it looked like an angel caught the bullets not to penetrate deeply. Other people around their car were also shot and their car became like a bee hive with many holes from the gun shots.  M. Elizabeth Kang was not shot at all. M. David is in stable condition. He said that after being shot he felt hot in his head, he prayed, “Lord, save my life! If it be your will to take me, I commit my soul to you!”  M. Elizabeth Kang thanks God for protecting lives of his servants. She also added that God must have preserved their lives because there was still much work to be done here. We praise God who preserved M. David Kang’s life. Please pray for his full recovery and continued protection of God’s servants who serve God in many unstable places around the world.
