Key Verse Ruth 1:16
On Saturday, February 2, 2013, God established the family of Hugo and Socorro Diaz. The blessed and joyful wedding was held in Chicago and presided by Pastor Ron Ward. God's work in them has been evident during difficulties during more than one year of engagement. In that time, God gave Hugo his word in Ruth 1:16. "But Ruth replied, 'Don't urge me to leave you or to turn back from you. Where you go I will go, and where you stay I will stay. Your people will be my people and your God my God.'" In their personal vows they pledged to stand with each other in the good times and hard times. God blessed the faith, conviction and commitment of Ruth and Naomi by bringing King David as Ruth's grandson. May God bless Hugo and Socorro to hold on to this word, and he may grant noble children like King David who may lead our people to God. God who began a good work in them will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.
