Shalom! We praise God who blessed our Bible camp with His Word of life! (January 24-27) The main theme of the camp was: “Jesus, the True Freedom!”  There were 48 attendants: 33 from Sao Paulo, 12 from Consolacao, 2 from Campinas and Shp. Juan Carlos from Venezuela UBF.

On January 24 at the beginning of the camp, we saw a heart- moving opening video. In the video we saw how many young souls are suffering under the power of sin and how great is Jesus’ saving power. After the video, we heard a graceful message preached by Msn. Nathan, entitled, “A Released Woman!” Jesus visited a Samaritan woman and gave her the living water, so that she might experience the true freedom in God!

On the second day, we woke up with cheerful aerobic exercises, served by brother Reinaldo. Then, 2nd gen. Peter Park gave us a daily bread message based on Mark 10:45. And after group Bible study, we heard the message preached by 2nd gen. Joshua Park, entitled, “Then Neither Do I Condemn You.” Through this message, we could learn the unconditional forgiving love of Jesus. In the afternoon, we had time to write and share testimonies and to practice sports. At night, we watched a short part of the film: Passion of Christ. Then, we heard the message of the evening entitled, “By His Wounds” preached by Msn. Josue Ahn. And brother Reinaldo testified how Jesus has guided his life through his testimony.

In the early morning of the third day, 2nd gen Isaac Kim preached his daily bread message, entitled, “Seek First!” Then, we heard the message of the cross, preached by 2nd gen Moses Park, entitled, “It is finished!” He declared that through the love of Jesus, we are free from our sins. In the evening, Msn. Omar served the message, entitled, “We are a Royal Priesthood!” We accepted that now we have a new life and a new identity in Jesus as a royal priesthood! After the message, we had a special program! 2nd gen Peter Park served a graceful drama. Msn. Nathan served 3 different dances: Portuguese, Brazilian and African. All the dancers trained very hard and glorified God’s name. And we had a graceful musical served by 2nd gen Joshua Park.

On the last day, we had Sunday worship service. Msn.  Timoteo Han preached that our new life is guided by the Holy Spirit! The closing message was preached by Shep. Juan Carlos from Venezuela, “You Will Be My Witness!” and showed the great plan and hope of God for our lives.

We praise and thank God who gave us a new heart to serve the Brazilian students through the 2013 Bible camp. We all pray that God may work powerfully among us in 2013. Thank you for your love and prayer for us!
