God Blessed the Wedding between Esther and Philip Chang of DuPage UBF

Praise the Lord who blessed the wedding between Esther and Philip Chang of DuPage UBF in Chicago, U.S.A. on May 25, 2013. The wedding took place outdoor and the reception took place indoor at the exquisite cuisine in a historic setting, Patrick C. Haley Mansion located in Joliet, IL. with about 125 guests from U.S.A., Canada, and Taiwan.
Pastor Mark Vucekovich officiated the wedding. He spoke on Ephesians 5:22-33as a wedding address. "Wives, submit to your husbands as to the Lord (22)" and "Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her (25)" was the main topic of the wedding address. His message was very deep and joyful and clear to them and to all of us.
The bride, Esther was born in Seoul, Korea to David and Joy Kim on August 30th, 1988. After spending her early life in Korea, she moved to L.A. for one year, and then grew up in Chicago studying the bible with Maria Ahn. Jr. After completing her high school at Glenbard South, she attended the McCormick School of Engineering at Northwestern University (NU), where she earned her Bachelors in Industrial Engineering. She currently works as a consultant at ZS Associates in Chicago.
The bridegroom, Philip was born in Chicago to Chawnshang and Amly Chang on October 1st, 1987. He lived in Madison, Wisconsin and then moved to Rochester, New York. After finishing high school at Pittsford Sutherland, he attended the Honors Program in Medical Education at NU. After obtaining his Bachelors in Psychology, he matriculated into NU Feinberg School of Medicine. He currently pursues a career in Neurology as a resident at the NU Hospital in Chicago.
Esther met Philip in their freshman year at NU and invited him to the bible study. Esther studied the bible with M. Annie Lee and Philip with M. Hosea Lee. Later, Philip became the president of NU UBF student club. Then after completing their undergraduate study, Esther began to study the bible with Mother Barry and Philip with David Kim. Especially before this wedding, they studied the house-church lessons through Pastor Mark and Kathy Vucekovich for the last several months. Many guests were very happy and thankful to God who led this new couple gracefully. May God bless them to live a Christ-Centered and Mission-Centered life in Lincoln Park UBF loving God and people, realizing that marriage life is a profound mystery!
