Dear friends and family,

I want to thank you for your prayers and give you an update.

Last month, the Lord closed the door to a job I thought was great for me. as the time drew nearer for our move, I began to learn to trust God in ways I never had to. my morning readings in the proverbs were timely and challenging.

This Tuesday, I turned in my resignation by faith in God who provides for those that obey and follow him.

This afternoon, I had an interview with an inner city school, where loving teachers are sorely needed. the question they asked was, "how do you feel about challenges?" they explained to me that it's a school of many challenges because of people's difficult family situations and backgrounds. but they assured me that these students are victorious people who have overcome many things.

This evening, I was offered a position as the math dept chair at this school and will start aug 13th. God closed the door on a job that was great and opened the door instead to a job that is perfect for me.

Praises to God who is faithful and always keeps his promises. he helped me experience his hand in this, and i was assured that God will use even me. Jesus is our greatest treasure.

We are so excited to be used by God as he builds up his body where he dwells by his Spirit. Eph 2:22

Please pray for us to be used for high school and college students of Austin, Texas.

God's glorious kingdom come.

Much thanks and love from our family.
