Thank and praise God who poured out his grace upon our Moscow summer Bible conference! The conference was held from Aug. 30 to Sept. 1 2013 at Lebkovo, which is located 50km or 60km away from Moscow. A total of 92 people attended; 9 from St. Petersburg, 3 from Odessa, 1 from Kiev, 8 from Mgimo, 3 from Nyzninobogorad, 2 from Krasnodar, 1 from Springfield, USA, 1 from Mongolia, 64 from Moscow.
It was the first conference since Sh. Aleksei Beleuh has been designated as the director of Moscow UBF. All the programs and the messages of this conference were prepared independently by Russian shepherds who co-worked with 2nd gens. In the end, 4 main messengers were raised for this conference as they powerfully proclaimed the words of God.
One significant thing was that happened was an engagement ceremony between Sh. Alex from Springfield, USA and sister Vika (Victoria) in Moscow right after the conference. After persistent praying for one house church, God answered our prayers. We all pray for them to be used as a good shepherd family for lost souls in America.
I personally thank God for sister Lena Kabaleva who attended this conference and wrote her own reflection and began to have a sincere desire to worship God. Thank you for all your prayers for Moscow ministry and the conference. May God bless the new Fall semester ministry through John’s gospel study and change new students with the power of the words of God!
