2 Timothy 4:2 “Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction.”

praise our God who was with my family and gave us His grace during this year. Through receiving grace during the 2013 European directors’ conference in Spain, I made a plan for making a joyful and powerful Sunday worship since there was no joy and power in our Sunday worship after Missionary Esther left for the sake of delivery. I didn’t feel lonely and deeply accepted God’s Words in Romans and Genesis. I thanked God due to attending Sunday worship in the mission field and met God who helped me.

In order to pioneer campus, I and Esther with Juchan in the stroller visited the university and prayed two to three times per week. At that time, Missionary John Joo the director of Sweden UBF visited my family. He gave my family this word: “Have faith in God!” God consoled my family and gave us new strength through this word. However, I was disappointed due to the slow progress of pioneering the campus. I remembered my key verse for 2013: “Many are the plans in a man's heart, but it is the LORD's purpose that prevails.” (Prov. 19:21) I confessed my efforts and eagerness. I began to seek God’s kingdom and righteousness. My family fasted and prayed every morning for a month for making a relationship with sheep, for four people to attend Sunday worship, world mission, and Northern Europe. When we prayed, God gave us new vision and hope. He also gave us challenging spirit and grace about extending our contract.

During my summer vacation, we learned their passion and sense of duty through visiting Sweden UBF. After vising Sweden UBF, we served Andreas who is having Bible study with Joshua Seo at Bern UBF. He was an exchange student at Helsinki University during six months. Through this event, God taught us that God is just giving grace and helping us to serve foreign students. Missionary Esther said; “I am very happy due to the pleasure of serving.” However, she suddenly came back to Korea with Juchan since she got pregnant a second time. After leaving Esther and Juchan, I tried to make a new relationship with God through reading the Bible, prayer and eating Daily Bread every day. During this time, Esther and I took a physical and spiritual rest. God gave us a shepherd heart toward the Finns. After Esther came back to Finland with Juchan, we restarted prayer meeting at the university. God heard our first prayer topic which was to receive Finnish social benefits for Esther and Juchan. After passing the evaluation, we received care and baby allowance from the Finnish government.

God blessed my family during this year. Based on his grace, our key verse of 2014 is 2 Timothy 4:2 “Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage--with great patience and careful instruction.” We pray to preach the Word and be prepared in season and out of season at campus by depending on God.
