We praise God for raising native Canadian shepherds as chapter directors; Andrew Christopher for Montreal UBF coordinator, and Andy Stumpf for Waterloo UBF director. This is truly historical moment in Canada UBF. We believe that the Canadian ministry should be led by native Canadian shepherds. We hope and pray that every Canadian chapter may raise native Canadian shepherd as chapter directors in the future. We thank Missionary Luke Hong and Joshua Yoon for their faithful services for more than 20 years. Pastor Mark Vucekovich and Ron Ward and many guests came and prayed for them.
Canada UBF 2014 key verse is Philippians 1:21, “For to me to live is Christ and to die is gain.” St. Paul said those words while he was in prison. He was severely limited by circumstances beyond his control. Rather than being frustrated by his limitation, he lived Christ-centered life; he preached the gospel to prison guards; he wrote several beautiful letters which became part of the Bible; he prayed for God’s flock. We get frustrated by our helplessness and limitations, and blame others, ourselves and God. We pray that we may live Christ-centered life so that Christ may be exalted in our lives, in our ministry, and in Canada
