"Preach the Word, be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke, encourage with great patience and careful instruction." (2Tim. 4:2)

Praise God for Jesus who has saved us through his one-sided love and has called us as his instruments in this generation.
Thank God for raising responsible young leaders for this purpose.

Today, coworkers from Cologne and several other German chapters gathered to pray for and celebrate the commissioning of 7 new gens to establish Wuppertal UBF.
After Titus and Maria Keller, who have been serving Dusseldorf 2, this is the second time in Germany (and Europe) to raise our new generation as independent leaders.

Mission work in Wuppertal has been going on for about 8 years. And even long before this, there have been several pivotal events of our ministry in Wuppertal, beginning with several nurse missionaries who used to work there in the 70's.
Now, for 5 years they used to have their own Sunday worship service while still working under the wings of Cologne 1 UBF.

We believe that this is the right moment to establish them as a responsible UBF chapter und the leadership of Paul Youk.
Shp. Knut Rohrmoser gave a clear message on 2Tim 3-4, focussing on two points: first, to remain in the word of God, and second, to share it with great patience and careful instruction.
Then Paul shared his life testimony, pointing out to God's great grace and manifold blessings upon him and his family despite the all too early loss of his father, M. Isaac Youk. He also found the strengths of each of the Seven as coworkers for God's glory.

The coworkers of Wuppertal UBF are:
Paul & Sarah Sohn Youk (with Paul Benjamin and Sophie), Josef & Ruth Hong, John Youk, Jonathan Hong, Sarah Youk.
Presently, M. Sarah Sohn from Chicago is also in Wuppertal.

Wuppertal UBF key verse for 2014 is Matt. 5:14, "You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden."
They pray ...

• To live as lights of the world and to share the gospel message in a spiritually relevant way;
• To open their homes and share their lives with spiritually needy young people;
• To consider themselves as one family in Christ;
• To raise disciples of Jesus from among Wuppertal students.
With whole-hearted prayer for each of the 7, we commissioned them to serve God among their peers.
We are grateful for the prayer support from across Germany and Europe and especially from Chicago UBF as well.
Please, keep them in your prayers.

God bless you always.

In Jesus' love,

Walter
