San Diego UBF started when M. Daniel and Crystal Park came there 14 years ago. Daniella is now 18 and will go to college next semester. Ezra is 10 years old and is now in 5th grade. M. Daniel works fulltime as a computer engineer. They have their Sunday worship services at their house. God blessed this house church ministry so far by allowing one Abraham of faith, Chester, who is studying English in SDSU and through another family, David Shin and Esther Shin .

San Diego UBF coworkers hosted the North American Senior Staff Conference at Double Tree Delmar in San Diego (Jan-30-Feb 1st). They served the senior staff joyfully and thankfully giving rides, serving food and praying together with them. After the conference, Pastor Abraham and Sarah Kim and Dr. James Kim attended their Sunday worship service. Pastor Abraham delivered the Sunday worship message entitled, "Preach the Word" based on 2 Timothy 3-4. Thorough his message, he showed us what and how we should preach as the most significant matter in the Christian life.

Here are M. Daniel Park's remarks and prayer topics: "Through a series of events last week, I learned faith is not abstract but practical, which should be practiced and actualized in my Christian life based on the principle of the cross: loving God and loving others; our life purpose should be aimed at how to live to learn (and grow in) the image of Jesus. The image of Jesus is not based on living by the principle of power but the principle of the cross, which is forgiving, serving and loving others. When this was clear to me, everything I served was just a way to grow in the image of Jesus.

San Diego UBF Prayer Topics are: 1. May our Genesis Bible Study point us to the gospel of Jesus; 2. May each one of us learn to die to self in each one's particular situation so that we may live in Jesus; 3. May Daniella be accepted to a college where she may be able to learn and follow Jesus.
