Key verses for New Year 2014:

“What is more, I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whose sake I have lost all things. I consider them garbage, that I may gain Christ” (Philippians 3:8)

“When they had finished eating, Jesus said to Simon Peter, “Simon son of John, do you love me more than these?” “Yes, Lord,” he said, “you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my lambs.” (John 21:15)

Holding these key verses we want to know Jesus all the more, especially through participating in Jesus’ suffering to serve his flock on campus and experience the power of resurrection. Also we want to feed campus students through fishing and 1:1 with Jesus’ love and great thanks to God.

We are planning two major conferences for 2014:
Spring conference for new comers (3/28-20)
Summer conference (July)

We might have a fall conference as well.

The goal of our LA UBF for 2014 is to have 300 teams of 1:1 Bible study and 200 Sunday worship attendants. Our LA UBF vision is to pioneer all west coast campuses and support world campus mission.

These are the prayer topics for 2014:

1) Fire from heaven may come to each of us through the word of God and prayer
2) Love one another just as Jesus loves us
3) Give thanks in all circumstances
4) Change of hearts for fishing, 1:1 Bible study, disciple-making of all nations with a thankful heart and Jesus’ love.
5) 1:1 Bible study with college students and among us (children, husbands and wives etc)
6) Honor those who make an environment such as praying in the morning, cleaning center, setting up chairs and tables for meetings, repairing, cooking, riding, preparing music, etc.
7) 300 teams of 1:1, 200 Sunday worship attendees.

One word: Know Jesus and preach the word
