“…Jesus had to rise from the dead” (John 20:9)

Thank you for your prayers for Peru.
We had Easter Conference from Friday, April 19 to 20. The people who participated were Fiorella, Caty, Kelly, Mrs Isabel, Jorge, Daniel, Marco, Melissa, Esteban, Eugenia and Efrain. The title of our conferences was “Jesus murió y resucitó para mi” (Jesus Died and Rose Again for Me). The first lecture was “Levantate toma tu lecho y anda” by Kelly (Get up! Pick up Your Mat and Walk) based on John 5:1-15. The second lecture was “Jesus es la luz del mundo” by Caty (Jesus is the Light of the World) based on John 9:1-12. The third lecture was “Consumado es” by Fiorella (It is Finished) base on John 19:17-42. The fourth lecture was “Jesus resucitó de los muertos” by Efrain (Jesus Rose from the Dead) based on John 20:1:31.
Also Kelly, Caty and Fiorella shared their sincere life testimonies with their messages. Kelly, Caty and Fiorella have finished their careers. They are growing as shepherdesses and coworkers in God’s history in Peru. Jorge and Marco were invited by Fiorella and they work in the same company. We have studied with Jorge every Friday. And Fiorella studies the Bible with Marco. Daniel is the first sheep we invited when we came to Peru. He is a dentist and fixed Eugenia’s teeth. Daniel married last year; however, he acknowledged his need for God in his life. Jorge, Daniel and Marco wrote sincere life testimonies. Melissa is shy and has a child; however, little by little, she is accepting her need for God in her life.
On Saturday night Fiorella, Caty, Kelly, Mrs Isabel, Jorge and Esteban performed a Peruvian dance "Huaylas" and Christian drama that were prepared by themselves. We thank God for our Lord Jesus who died and has risen again in order to forgive our sins and give us salvation and eternal life.
