Esteban Cho's Lecture in KIMNET (Paraguay)

1. Dr. Esteban Cho delivered a lecture based on the Bible and psychology to encourage pastors and missionaries who become depressed or burned out.

2. He also shared with us the following:

a. how much he was impressed by the passion and zeal for the Lord of the Korean church leaders. They came to Paraguay and delivered several lectures and then returned to Korea delivering messages nonstop.

b. UBF Bible study is great but we lay missionaries may need more and deeper studies of the Bible with background histories and theology. It may be done through attending seminary, inviting theologians to come and teach or through UBF HQ education programs or leaders’ self-study and sharing in meetings or conferences among leaders.

Thank God for his hard labor in the midst of serving his own ministry in Bolivia.
Dr. Esteban Cho (Bolivia UBF) was invited as one of three speakers. (The other two were Pastor Lim, a seminary president and pastor of a megachurch with 100,000 members, and Pastor Lee, the dean of a seminary and pastor of a church with 7,000 members.)
Dr. Esteban Cho gave a lecture entitled, "Competitive Spirit and Inferiority Complex of a Man of Mission," "When a Man of God Feels Rejected by God..." and "How to Deal with the Stresses and Depression of Being a Man of Mission." He said that he made this lecture based on biblical truth as well as on his experience.
There were around 80 local pastors and his lecture was given in Spanish. He learned the passions of the pastors while sharing UBF lay-missionary life, too.
