“Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and, ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’” (Lk 10:27)

On June 15, Dr. James Chin-Kyung Kim, president of PUST (Pyong Yang University of Science and Technology) delivered the Sunday message at Heidelberg UBF. Dr. Kim was originally invited as a keynote speaker to a big Christian meeting held at Stuttgart with 20,000 members to celebrate the 500 year anniversary of religious reformation. On the way, Dr. Kim was invited to deliver the Sunday message at the united UBF meeting of Heidelberg, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Mannheim, Darmstadt I & II. He delivered the message entitled, “Jesus’ Greatest Command of Love” based on Luke 10:27. He delivered the message in Korean and it was translated into German by M. Abraham Moses Ju. P. Kim encouraged everyone to practice Jesus’ command to love God with all their heart, with all their soul, with all their strength and with all their mind, and love their neighbor as themselves.
After delivering the message, the offering of 10,000 euros was delivered to P. Kim by S. Reiner Schauwienold. In conclusion, P. Kim asked them to adopt YUST and PUST as UBF’s own universities and continually pray for them.
The next day P. Kim left for Bonn UBF to have fellowship with the Bonn UBF leaders.
