The 19th National Student Retreat in 2024 was held at Oryun Vision Village in Gapyeong, South Korea, from January 29 to February 1. The theme of this retreat was "人 STAR 그래, 너!" (‘IN STAR, yes, you!’), and the opening message titled "They Look at the Stars" was delivered by Daniel H. On the first day, participants enjoyed socializing while admiring the night view of the Arboretum of Morning Calm.
On the second day, various outdoor activities and special lectures were held, and Ezra A. delivered the message "Daniel Who Determined." On the third day, participants learned about Daniel’s faith as Shepherd John Choi delivered the message "Daniel’s Prayer and Gratitude." On the last day, Mark Y. preached, "They will shine like stars." In total, 403 people attended this retreat, and most students made a clear decision of faith. The retreat was deemed successful, thanks to the efforts of all preparation committee members and shepherds. Participants are eagerly looking forward to the 20th National Student Retreat next year.
