In 1993, God changed the lives of many people in Germany through an evangelist Billy Graham. Thirty years later, his son Franklin Graham shared God’s Love with about 7,000 in Germany and nearly 20% of them followed the call to the altar. The Festival of Hope was not a one-day event. It was the culmination of months of prayer, planning and training to equip surrounding church communities including UBF for evangelism. This festival showed the spiritual desire of many people, especially of young people and gave an impulse for the work of the Holy Spirit in Germany.
