The Korea UBF Director's Inauguration Ceremony was held on June 19 at the Dr. Samuel Lee Hall in the Jong-ro Center. P. Moses K, the former Korea UBF Director, shared his thanksgiving topics based on 1 Corinthians 15:10, " But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them—yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me." His thanksgiving topics were: preparing the World Mission Report amidst Covid-19, publishing Dr. Samuel Lee's biography, supporting the world mission ministry through working together with the World Mission Headquarters, serving various educational programs, and others.

P. Nehemiah K, the new Korea UBF Director, delivered his inaugural message based on Acts 1:8, "But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” He presented his prayer topics: to rely on God who carried out the world mission ministry through the disciples empowered by the Holy Spirit, to restore the passion for the gospel at each campus, to create an active world mission environment, and to strive to form a community of love.

Nehemiah Kim has been elected as the Director of Korea UBF. The announcement was made on May 14, 2023, following a selection process. Nehemiah will assume the position for a three-year term, aiming to foster a spirit of unity and a renewed commitment to the mission of Korea UBF. Drawing inspiration from 1 Kings 3:9, "So give your servant a discerning heart to govern your people and to distinguish between right and wrong. For who is able to govern this great people of yours?”

Nehemiah Kim has outlined his prayer topic, emphasizing listening to others. He seeks to cultivate an environment where the voice of God and the opinions of fellow shepherds are heard and respected. Through this approach, he aspires to build a community of the Holy Spirit that pleases God. One of Nehemiah Kim's primary objectives is to restore the grace of the gospel among Korea UBF members. With a deep passion for world mission and campus ministry, he envisions empowering the organization to undertake a renewed effort to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ. The inauguration ceremony has been scheduled for June 19, 2023.
