“Do you love me?”

On April 7-9, Malaysia, Singapore, and B* UBF had a joint Easter Conference with 20 attendees, titled “Do you love me?” taken from John 21:16. It was the first joint, in-person bible conference among the three countries. The unique part of these countries is that we share a lot of similarities in terms of culture. The opening message was delivered by Vincent L. with the title “Put out into Jesus” (Luke 5: 1-11). He shared about living passionately for God’s Word, for God’s Kingdom (which is like the deep water), and for Christ. Later in the evening, Angel N. shared her message based on John 3:1-21 (Born Again). She encouraged us to believe in Jesus who so loves us and life comes from Him.

The next morning, we studied John 4:1-26 and from the same passage, Ison H. delivered a message titled “Thirsty No More”. He shared about the 4 living words of Jesus: “Will you give me a drink?”, “Drink the water I give”, “Go, call your husband”, and “I am He”. Later, Andrew preached from John 5: 1-9 (“Get up! Pick up your mat and walk”). On Easter Sunday, P. Stephen A., guest speaker from Korea UBF, delivered an Easter message based on John 21:1-25, titled “Feed My Lambs”. Apart from the messages, we were also graced with wonderful life testimony by Annie, testifying of God’s enduring love throughout her life. We are also thankful for the memorable special songs, skit performances as well as worship dances led by Singapore UBF. Thank God for the baptism ceremonies for 2 sisters and the dedication of 3 toddlers during the conference. Lastly, thank God for rekindling the love of Christ in us as we experienced the Kingdom of God in this conference.
