Pray, Rather Than Be Anxious
“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God and the peace of God which transcends all understanding will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” (Phil 4:6,7)
On December 29-30, Chicago HBF held the 2022 Winter Retreat at Chicago UBF’s Leningrad House with 19 attendants. The title was "Pray rather than Be Anxious", with a key verse of Phil 4:6,7. There was Bible study on Philippians 4:6.7, a message delivered by John Lee, and 17 key verse testimony sharers, in addition to praise songs, group games, and a prayer activity. Please pray for our high schoolers to overcome social anxiety and adjust to changes due to the pandemic’s aftermath. Also, pray for Chicago HBF to be stewards of the ISBC 2023 HBF program and to serve high schoolers from around the world.
