(SRI LANKA) Despite Many Difficulties, Kotte UBF Experienced the Mighty Work of the Holy Spirit Through Their 2022 Easter Bible Conference "Lazarus, Come Out!"

Currently, Sri Lanka is going through a serious economic crisis, and people are protesting against the government. There is huge inflation, and people cannot buy gasoline. Power outages frequently take place. They say that the electric bill will go up by 500% next month. But by the help of the Holy Spirit and God's mercy, we will continue to plant the gospel of Jesus and resurrection faith to the lost. Kotte UBF is located near the presidental residence so we are often exposed to serious and violent protests. In the midst of the current crisis, we held our Easter Conference last week with a title, "Lazarus, Come out!" based on John 11. We prepared the conference with the heart of obedience to Jesus' command to move the stone that was blocking the tomb of Lazarus. And we experienced the mighty work of the Holy Spirit. All 17 attendants repented of unbelief and restored their love and faith in Jesus. Praise and glory be to the Lord!
