In 2021, LA UBF had an online and in-person hybrid Sunday worship service. For a while, they had an outside worship service on the grass area of the church. It was a new experience and members enjoyed the outdoor worship service a lot.

As the pandemic situation got better, more members came to the in-person worship service. JBF/HBF had an in-person summer conference. UBF had a hybrid summer conference. 2nd gen college members had a summer retreat at Big Bear mount. From the fall semester, members started in-person fishing and 1:1 and group bible studies on campuses. God sent students who have a sincere desire to study the word of God. God called Shepherd William Larsen to become the new chapter director after Pastor John. He will serve the ministry as director from 2023 after a one-year transition period. LA UBF is very thankful that God established a native leader answering a long prayer. LA UBF had an in-person Christmas worship service on Dec.19. Most of the members, including children, and new students attended and filled the room and God blessed the worship with much grace and joy.
