TERMINATION OF POST-DOCTORAL IN CHEMICAL SCIENCES

Testimony by P*erla Guzmán (Mexico City)

John 21:17, "The third time he said to him, “Simon son of John, do you love me? “Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, “Do you love me?” He said, “Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you.” Jesus said, “Feed my sheep."

Thank God and thank my Lord Jesus for giving his life on the cross to save my life. Before meeting Jesus, I lived in the darkness, empty and full of sin, without purpose and without understanding the meaning of my life. But by receiving my Lord Jesus, I found the purpose and value of my life, which is not in achieving the glory of this world, but in loving, serving, and glorifying King Jesus. By faith, I decided to follow him as his disciple. He has given me great blessings and putting me as a shepherdess of his sheep, sharing his word, his love, and grace with the university students. God guided me as a pharmaceutical chemist, to pursue a doctorate in chemical sciences, with the purpose of staying on the campus of mission and using my career and work to glorify his name. With his mercy, God supported me and allowed me to graduate from my doctorate in 2018. By his grace, in 2019 I began my postdoctoral, however, with the COVID-19 pandemic, great uncertainty arose, due to the closure of the universities. However, God allowed the sheep to study up to 8 times a week. God helped me to put all my hope in Him, trusting that He guides his people and according to his will, He can open the way where there is no hope, to fulfill his salvation. In July of this year, by the grace of God, I finished my postdoctoral and wonderfully God opened the way to enter the U*AM, with the vision of pioneering this campus, as a professor to feed university students. Glory to God, who works wonders. I pray to God to help me keep the grace, with all my heart and spiritual struggle. I pray to depend on the grace and love of my Lord Jesus, and God will give me wisdom and a shepherd's heart to serve his sheep and glorify his name. Amen
