<UPDATE-10/6/2020>

Praise and thank God for blessing Founders Day night with a keynote speech by general director P. Moses Yoon, 5 life testimonies, late Dr. Lee’s video presentation, special music programs, and prayers that inspired many attendees to delight in God’s word. We felt that we were empowered to advance the world campus mission under the Covid-19 pandemic by delighting in God’s word! Including M. Sarah Barry, M. Grace A Lee, nearly 40 people attended the in-service celebration as well as many members around the world through the live stream via UBF HQ Facebook and UBF HQ Youtube UBF TV Channel.

Dear UBF mission coworkers,

“But whose delight is in the law of the LORD, and who meditates on his law day and night” (Ps 1:2).

May the Lord protect you and your family’s health amid the corona pandemic!

Founders Day is held in Chicago UBF in early October every year. This year we plan to have it online on Friday, Oct.2 at 7:00 p.m. (Chicago time) and make it an open event to all UBF chapters globally. The theme is "Delight in God's Word!"

For three months now, we have been praying and preparing the message and testimonies. The main message and testimonies will all be spoken in English, with Korean captions provided. 

Through this event, we will be able to learn the late Dr.Samuel Lee's love for the Bible. We all pray that we can delight in the Word of God more and more, especially in this time of the pandemic, and be blessed with the strength, wisdom, and joy that come from the Word.

The broadcasting link and hours are as follows. The event will be recorded for those who cannot attend live:

주님께서 코로나 판데믹 가운데 건강을 지켜주시길 기도합니다.

2020.10.2(금) 에 있을 '파운더스 데이' (설립자 기념일) 행사 관련입니다. 예년부터 매년 10월 초에 시카고 쎈타에서 이 행사를 해 왔습니다. 올해에도 동일한 행사를 하는데, 이번에는 세계 각지부에 온라인으로 방영을 하고자 합니다. 주제는 "Delight in God's word" ('하나님의 말씀을 즐거워하여' 입니다)

지난 석 달간 기도를 많이 하며 말씀과 소감을 준비하였습니다. 주제 메시지와 선정된 소감은 모두 영어로 발표되지만 한국어 번역이 같이 나갑니다. 그래서 영어가 익숙하지 않으신 분들도 참여하여 은혜를 받을 수 있습니다.

이 행사를 통해 우리 모임이 고 이사무엘 선교사님의 성경 사랑 정신을 배우고 판데믹 가운데 더욱 말씀을 사랑하며 말씀에서 나오는 힘과 지혜와 기쁨을 누리게 되기를 기도합니다.
