At the age of 42 in Hanyang UBF, Seoul, Korea, missionary J_ungMiLee went to be with the Lord on June 8, 2020 at 7:00 a.m. Due to the pandemic, the homecoming service was not allowed in the funeral home. So, we had the homecoming service at Hanyang UBF, broadcasting a live streaming serivce to the funeral place.

Missionary J_ungMiLee met Jesus as her personal savior while she was in YunHee UBF in Seoul. Later she was sent out as a missionary to C nation. She got married to J_amesL, a Korean-Chinese who was raised as a spiritual leader under J_oshuaK's care. They planned to move to C nation after J_amesL's completion of Ph.D study. Due to her health issue as she was diagnosed with colorectal cancer, they stayed in Korea for her treatment. Her husband got accepted as a professor at K_ookmin University.

God had blessed her as a good mother for John (11) and Hannah (9). Both her and her husband have great faith following Jesus as his disciples. She had served Hanyang UBF as a sacrificial servant and a gospel witness to many others. During the severe cancer treatment, she had fought a good fight to the end. God ended her suffering and called her to her eternal home. We praise and thank God for all He has done for her and her family. We sometimes cannot understand God’s good will and his bigger plan with our own limitations. However, God is always good with His soverign will and bigger plans for those who love him. We believe that God truly will display His salvation work vividly through her beautiful life of faith for God and His kingdom. Amen!

한양 UBF의 이_정미 선교사님이 42세의 젊은 나이에 소천하셨습니다. 코로나 관계로 한양센터에서 추모 예배를 드리고 생방송을 장례식장에 전송하였습니다.

이 분은 연희UBF에서 대학시절 예수님을 만나고 C nation 선교사로 헌신했습니다. 이ㅈㅇ스 목자님이 조선족으로서 강ㅇㅎ수아 목자님을 통해 목자가 되었을 때 이정미 선교사님은 ‘가겠나이다’ 위대한 결단을 하고 믿음의 가정을 이루었습니다. 이제임스 목자님은 ㄱ희대에서 박사과정을 하시고 C nation 선교사로 나가고자 하셨지만 이_정미 선교사님께 건강문제가 발생하여 믿음으로 ㄱ민대학교에 불가능한 가운데 교수직을 얻게 되었습니다. 하나님은 이_정미 목자님을 요한이와 한나의 좋은 엄마요, 이 ㅈㅇ스 목자님의 좋은 동역자로 사용하셨습니다. 이ㅈㅇ스 목자님과 이_정미 목자님은 믿음의 이 시대에 예수님의 제자들이요, 믿음의 용사들이었습니다. 이_정미 선교사님은 한양센타에서 믿음의 여장부요 섬기는 종으로 아름다운 인생을 사셨습니다. 이 종은 항암투쟁을 하는 가운데 끝까지 믿음으로 병마와 투쟁했습니다. 하나님은 이 종을 젊은 나이에 부르셔서 이 세상의 고통을 끝내고 하나님 아버지 품안에 안아주셨습니다. 우리는 하나님이 그리시는 인생의 큰 그림을 알지 못하지만 우리를 사랑하시는 하나님 아버지, 섭리하시는 하나님은 이 일을 통해서도 더 큰 그림을 그리시고 더 큰 생명구원의 역사를 이루어 가실 줄을 믿고, 하나님께 감사와 찬양가 영광을 돌려 드립니다. 아멘 할렐루야.
