A KERNEL OF WHEAT, MOTHER OF PRAYER

With a title, “A Kernel of Wheat, Mother of Prayer”, God abundantly blessed the ceremony of M. Monica Cho, the mother of Dr. S Theresa Kim and M. Anna Yang in Chicago, with spirit-filled and heart moving eulogies shared by 17 people including special programs such as music and beautiful poem from Korea, Germany, USA, and Russia. Alone with her two daughters who devoted themselves as UBF missionaries, she also became a UBF missionary to serve the world campus mission. Her beautiful life of faith and sacrificial love for many others from the early UBF ministry in Anam pioneering work in Seoul, Korea until recent days in Chicago moved many attendants' hearts and hearts of those who have received much grace from her in a personal relationship. Both ceremonies, the homecoming service, and burial service were lived-streamed via Chicago UBF Facebook at 9:00 am in Chicago time (Central Time Zone) and 11:00 pm in Korea.

May God comfort the remaining families with the hope of God’s kingdom. May God bless them to continue to serve the work of God following the footsteps of M. Monica’s humble and sacrificial life of faith.
