GD's Key Note message

“Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, since as members of one body you were called to peace. And be thankful.” (Col.3:15)

Recently, many aspects of our lives have been restricted because of coronavirus pandemic. In view of the unprecedented lockdowns and daily increasing death tolls, we see that the whole world is fighting a viral war. Some of our neighbors are also suffering from the infection. The economy is in recession, and many people are losing their jobs. We don't know how far this catastrophe will go. As a result, our hearts are anxious and even fearful. But the word of God says. "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts." What does this mean? Does it mean that we should secure enough money to attain peace? Does it mean that we should actively struggle to find peace? The word of God says that Christ is already in us, and he wants to rule our hearts through his peace.

Who is Christ? He is the Almighty God. He shattered the power of death and was resurrected. This Christ dwells in us through his Spirit. Anyone who does not have the Spirit of Christ does not belong to him (Ro 8:9). Christ dwells within all believers. He not only overcame death by His resurrection from the dead but also destroyed the power of death. Christ, who dwells in us through the Spirit, is the King of peace. He is the King who rules us with peace forever. Whenever we open our eyes in the morning, we may feel worried. Did something happen last night? When we turn on our smartphones, we may be worried if we have received bad news. We're concerned if we can get through the day without any difficulties. All these worries and fears are planted by death. These are the power of death. While Christ seeks to reign in peace within us, we have an unconscious tendency to accept the worries and fears of death. So, death tries to interfere with Christ's reign. God’s word says: "Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts." This is a command.

We must not allow the attacks of anxiety and fear of Satan to penetrate us. Christ in us has destroyed death forever, breaking all the forces of death that are against us. For those who believe in Christ, death is nothing but a paper tiger. Unbelief is the cause of all the anxiety and fear in our hearts. We must repent of our unbelief and believe in the risen Christ. We must also believe that we have already received the life of the resurrection. We must believe that the risen Christ guards and protects us like the apple of his eye. Then, Christ will rule our hearts with peace. When our hearts are ruled by the peace of Christ, we can live as victors of faith during this time of the pandemic. Then, we can also help those who are worried and afraid.

I pray that we may come to the risen Christ every day, renew our faith in Him, repent of all our worries and fears, and enjoy deep peace. I pray that with this peace, we can live as spiritual shepherds for this generation. I pray that we may thank God wholeheartedly by believing that this suffering, which God has allowed for a while, will eventually work together for our good and for his glory.

One word: Let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts.

Mensaje de nota clave de GD

“Dejen que la paz de Cristo gobierne en sus corazones, ya que como miembros de un cuerpo fueron llamados a la paz. Y sé agradecido. (Col.3: 15)

Recientemente, muchos aspectos de nuestras vidas han sido restringidos debido a la pandemia del coronavirus. En vista de las cuarentenas inéditas y el aumento diario del número de muertos muertes, vemos que todo el mundo está combatiendo una guerra viral. Algunos de nuestros vecinos también sufren de infección. La economía está en recesión y muchas personas están perdiendo sus empleos. No sabemos hasta dónde llegará esta catástrofe. Como resultado, nuestros corazones están ansiosos e incluso temerosos. Pero la palabra de Dios dice. “Que gobierne en sus corazones la paz de Cristo”. ¿Qué significa esto? ¿Significa que debemos asegurar suficiente dinero para alcanzar la paz? ¿Significa que debemos luchar activamente para encontrar la paz? La palabra de Dios dice que Cristo ya está en nosotros y que quiere gobernar nuestros corazones a través de su paz.

Quien es Cristo El es el Dios Todopoderoso. El destruyó el poder de la muerte y resucitó. Este Cristo mora en nosotros a través de su Espíritu. Quien no tiene el Espíritu de Cristo no le pertenece (Ro 8: 9). Cristo habita dentro de todos los creyentes. No solo venció a la muerte con su resurrección, sino que también destruyó el poder de la muerte. Cristo, que habita en nosotros a través del Espíritu, es el Rey de la paz. Él es el Rey que nos gobierna con paz para siempre. Cada mañana, cuando abrimos los ojos, puede que nos sintamos preocupados. ¿Pasó algo anoche? Cuando encendemos nuestros teléfonos celuar , podemos estar preocupados si hemos recibido malas noticias.  Nos preocupamos al pensar si podremos pasar el día sin ninguna dificultad. Todas estas preocupaciones y miedos son plantados por la muerte. Estos son el poder de la muerte. Mientras Cristo busca reinar en paz dentro de nosotros, tenemos una tendencia inconsciente a aceptar las preocupaciones y los temores de la muerte. Entonces, la muerte trata de interferir con el reinado de Cristo. La palabra de Dios dice: “Que gobierne en sus corazones la paz de Cristo". Este es un comando.

No debemos permitir que los ataques de ansiedad y miedo de Satanás nos penetren. Cristo en nosotros ha destruido la muerte para siempre, rompiendo todas las fuerzas de la muerte que están en contra de nosotros. Para aquellos que creen en Cristo, la muerte no es más que un tigre de papel. La incredulidad es la causa de toda la ansiedad y el miedo en nuestros corazones. Debemos arrepentirnos de nuestra incredulidad y creer en el Cristo resucitado. También debemos creer que ya hemos recibido la vida de la resurrección. Debemos creer que el Cristo resucitado nos cuida protege y protege como a la niña de sus ojos. Entonces, Cristo gobernará nuestros corazones con paz. Cuando nuestros corazones están gobernados por la paz de Cristo, podemos vivir como vencedores de la fe durante este tiempo de pandemia. Entonces, también podremos podemos ayudar a quienes están preocupados y temerosos.

Oro para que podamos venir al Cristo resucitado todos los días, renovar nuestra fe en Él, arrepentirnos de todas nuestras preocupaciones y temores, y disfrutar de una paz profunda. Oro Rezo para que con esta paz, podamos vivir como pastores para esta generación. Ruego que podamos agradecer de todo corazón a Dios creyendo que este sufrimiento, que Dios ha permitido por un tiempo, a la postre, trabajará en conjunto para nuestro bien y para Su su gloria.

최근에 코로나 판데믹으로 모든 생활이 위축되었습니다. 전례 없는 격리 조치와 매일 수천 명이 죽어가는 현실을 볼 때 참으로 전 세계는 핵전쟁이 아니라 바이러스 전쟁을 치르고 있음을 봅니다. 우리에게 가까이 있는 몇몇 사람들도 감염되어 고통을 받고 있습니다. 경제는 대불황으로 많은 사람들이 일자리를 잃고 있습니다. 이러한 재앙이 얼마나 더 갈지 알 수 없습니다. 이런 우리의 마음은 불안하고 두렵기까지 합니다. 그러나 본문은 말합니다. "그리스도의 평강이 너희 마음을 주장하게 하라." 이 말이 무슨 말씀입니까? 평강을 얻기 위해 재물을 많이 쌓으라는 말입니까? 평강을 어디에서 가져오라는 말입니까? 이 말씀은 이미 우리 안에 계신 그리스도가 우리를 평강으로 주장하고자 하시는데 그 일을 하도록 막지 말라는 것입니다.

그리스도는 어떤 분이십니까? 그 분은 전능하신 하나님이십니다. 그는 죽음을 깨뜨리시고 부활하셨습니다. 그 그리스도께서 영으로 우리 안에 계십니다. 누구든지 그리스도의 영이 없으면 그리스도의 사람이 아닙니다. 신자인 우리, 그리스도의 사람인 우리 각자의 내면에 그리스도께서 거하십니다. 그는 죽음에서 부활하심으로 사망을 이기셨을 뿐만 아니라 사망이 주는 모든 권세를 멸하셨습니다. 우리 안에 영으로 계신 그리스도는 평강의 왕이십니다. 우리를 영원히 평화로 다스려주시는 왕이십니다. 우리는 아침에 눈을 뜰 때마다 불안한 마음이 듭니다. 혹시 지난밤에 무슨 일이 일어나지는 않았을까? 스마트 폰을 켜면서 무슨 어려운 소식이 들어오지는 않았을까 염려가 됩니다. 오늘 하루는 아무 일 없이 잘 지낼 수 있을까 염려가 됩니다. 이 모든 염려와 두려움은 죽음이 주는 것입니다. 사망 권세가 주는 것입니다. 그리스도는 우리 안에서 평강으로 다스리고자 하시는데, 우리는 사망이 주는 염려와 두려움을 문제의식 없이 받아들입니다. 그래서 그리스도의 통치를 방해합니다. 이런 우리에게 말씀하십니다. "그리스도의 평강이 너희 마음을 주장하게 하라." 이는 명령어입니다. 우리는 사탄이 주는 염려와 두려움의 공격을 허용해서는 안 됩니다.

우리 안에 계신 그리스도는 죽음을 영원히 멸하셨으며, 우리에게 역사하는 모든 죽음의 세력을 무용지물이 되게 하셨습니다. 그리스도를 믿는 우리들에게 그런 것들은 종이호랑이와 같이 아무 것도 아닙니다. 우리 마음에 파고드는 모든 염려와 두려움의 원인은 불신입니다. 이러한 불신을 회개해야겠습니다. 우리는 불신을 회개하고 부활의 주님을 믿고, 또한 우리가 이미 부활의 생명을 얻은 사실을 믿어야 합니다. 부활의 주님이 우리를 눈동자와 같이 지키시고 보호하신다는 것을 믿어야 합니다. 이때 그리스도께서 우리 마음을 마음껏 평강으로 다스리십니다. 우리의 마음이 그리스도의 평강으로 다스림을 받을 때 우리는 판데믹으로 두려워하는 시대 가운데 믿음의 승리자들로 살아갈 수 있습니다. 또한 염려하고 두려워하는 자들을 도울 수 있습니다.

우리가 날마다 주님께 나아가 부활하신 주님께 대한 믿음을 새롭게 하고 마음에 파고드는 모든 염려와 두려움을 회개하고 깊은 평강을 누리길 기도합니다. 이 평강으로 이 시대 영적인 목자의 직분을 잘 감당하기를 기도합니다. 하나님이 잠시 허락하신 이 고난이 결국 합력하여 선을 이루실 것을 믿고, 하나님께 감사를 넘치게 드리길 기도합니다.
