"What are you Looking for?" Argentina's 2020 Summer Bible Conference Report (English/Spanish/Korean)

By the grace of God, the 2020 Summer Bible Conference ended with many fruits. For this report, I want to gather the leftovers and glorify God.

I. Preparing for the summer conference

We had it between Feb. 22-25, 2020. After participating in the international conference in Brazil, within 1 month we needed to prepare everything. This was not easy for us. But the sisters who had participated in Brazil, served with a more open heart, and the fire of early morning prayer meetings, which we had started having since Nov. 2019, was a great support to serve this conference.

At the beginning of Feb., the air was still very cold. I did not even know if all the members of the brothers' house would participate. Some often missed Sunday worship for weekend work. After the conference in Brazil, due to economic problems, Edelin and Mrs. Marta were uncertain of participating. Humanly, it didn't seem that we could invite even 50 (like last year).

Worse, on Feb. 15, after swimming, I fell and hit my left hip on the wet floor and could not walk well. If the hit had been a little to the right, my spine would have been damaged. Thank God because He saved my life.

After the international conference in Brazil, we shared the word of Rev. 1 and John 6. "Restore your first love." It really was a message for us. Although we had nothing, because of God's love, we were very, very happy as if walking on the clouds. If we do not restore this love, God would remove the lampstand from our heart. We prayed to recover this first love and first joy and first work. We also did not have great strength. But we had 5 loaves and 2 fish. We could all decide to deliver our 5 loaves of bread and 2 fish of prayer in the early morning and prepare messages and testimonies with all our heart. We have come to expect that God will give us 12 full baskets (12 candidates of the discipleship course after the conference) through these 5 loaves and 2 fish (after the conference).

Through the word of John 6, Monica decided to quit her weekend work as her 5 loaves and 2 fish. She was earning 12,000 pesos (almost half of a full-time worker's salary) for this job. But she decided to keep the Sunday service instead of this work and decided to participate more positively in this conference. And Mrs. Marta suspended her vacation after the conference.

Sh. Alonso and Sh. Lesly were treasurers for this conference. Sh. Alonso would bring in the majority of inscriptions after early morning prayer meeting. In the early morning, Sisters Monica, Victoria, Sh. Alonso and Sh. Nicolas absolutely kept the prayer lamp in the temple. Before the conference, last week even the teenagers Luimy, Katheleen, Maia, and Mrs. Luiba and Mrs. Gaby, and Msn. Erendira came to pray in the morning.

For them, M. Hannah (who was very tired from her work - from the 3 hour round trip each day) also came to pray at 5 AM with M. DonKuper. I confess that every miracle was through the early morning prayer time.

As a result of these prayers, brother Gerson, a new brother who had studied for 3 months with Sh. Alonso, decided to participate for 2 days. Sister Daniela (who had not studied the Bible for almost 1 year) also decided to participate. Sh. Lesly supported the inscription of Liumi and lent money for Edelin, and Gabi also enrolled with her daughters.

Each delivered their 5 loaves and 2 fish. On the night of worship (last night of the conference) there were 5 special presentations. Among the 5, BsAs served 4. Teenagers Liumi, Katheleen, Maia participated, presenting a musical and a worship dance. M. Ruth prepared a theater drama "What is your name?" with the brothers. Paternal UBF also collaborated to present a choir, which they had been practicing twice a week. Without hurry, but step by step, the preparation was done. Thus 25 people registered and on the day of leaving for the conference, 10 more people registered.

One day before the conference, the total participants would be more than 70. That is why we had a very happy concern that we would lack beds. There were many children under 5 and many teenagers and we had to form separate groups. At that moment I realized, aha, we already have 70. But we need to fight to invite more student members to keep the main focus of our ministry. But I praise God, because He made us experience a miracle of 5 loaves and 2 fishes. For this year 2020, we have a decision to work harder.

II. At the conference

Finally, the conference began. Sh. Nicolas delivered the opening message “What are you looking for?”. He shared that God had asked him, ‘What are you looking for?’ because he had sometimes looked at the world. Sister Camila (LaPlata) served the 1st message (on 1st night). Last year, she had delivered her life testimony and had been faithful for one year, so this year she presented her message that Jesus is the light of the world. M. Noah (BsAs) served the 2nd message "Born Again." To Nicodemus, who was over 60 years old, Jesus said that to see the kingdom of God, he must be born again. It means that everything he has does not serve to see the kingdom. He should begin by dumping everything and starting from 0. It was a big challenge to learn about maximum humility. Brother Miguel (La Plata) served the 3rd message “What is your name?” M. José Ortega (Rosario) served the 4th message "I am". He had a lot of inner struggle in his missionary life. I could feel his spiritual fight in his message. He shared about drinking the living water in Jesus. Sh. Lesly (BsAs) served "To be the approved worker of God" (2Tim 2: 14-24). It was very appropriate as a conclusion to the conference, whose title asked ‘What are you looking for?’ M. JuanCarlos (La Plata) served the final message "Remain in me." He was very appropriate as well for closing the conference. Victoria, Sh. Alonso, Kendrick, Edelin, M. Juan Moon, Eleana M., Hannah K, all gave their life testimonies. And a local church pastor and his wife served our food. They served delicious and abundant food.

On the last night, we had a time of praise, Theater, Musical and choreography from BsAs and Traditional Dance from LaPlata and 2 songs by the toddlers and girls.

At the end of the conference, 12 people in BsAs decided to participate in the discipleship course. M. Don prepared 3 groups (beginners, intermediate and advanced). God really led us to have 12 full baskets. In La Plata, another 4 people registered. The hearts of the brothers and sisters were moved slowly, and only on the last night they could share their personal testimony based on the passages of the conference, and 5 people shared on the last day of the conference. We feel that we must prepare more in advance.

I am personally thankful for M. DonKuper for his work, helping the 5 people who prepared their life testimonies (from before the conference until the last moment). Even a little late, they presented and confirmed God’s grace. For this, I praise God.

III. Baptism

In BsAs, we had our 1st baptism on March 1, 2020. I was able to give baptism for the first time of my missionary life. It was great honor. I shared the word of Psalm 1, as a cow continuously chews for a meal, if we chew the word of God day and night, our life will be like the tree planted next to streams of water, and our leaf does not fall, and in times of goodness and (even) in times of difficulty we will bear fruit (of godliness). With this word, we had baptism.

In the beginning, we planned only for Kendrick and Victoria. But one day before, Gaston made a decision to receive the baptism because he felt he lacked commitment. There were no robes for him. But by faith, he was baptized.

We pray that God may bless our ministry even more this year 2020, and that more disciples of Jesus Christ will rise.

May God lead many more to be reborn by the baptism of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

En la gracia de Dios, la conferencia del Verano 2020 finalizó con muchos frutos. Por este reportaje, quiero recoger lo que sobró y glorificar a Dios.

I. Preparando la conferencia del verano

La tuvimos entre 22-25 de Feb, 2020. Después de participar en la conferencia internacional de Brasil, en 1 mes debíamos servir.. y no era fácil por nosotros. Pero las hermanas que participaron participaron con corazón más abierto y por el fuego de la oración de la madrugada que empezó desde Nov, 2019 fue un gran apoyo para servir esta conferencia.

En el principio de Feb, todavía el ambiente era muy frío. Ni sabía si participarán todos miembros de la convivencia de los hermanos aún. Y algunas frecuentemente faltaba el culto dominical por el trabajo de fin de semana. Después de la conferencia de Brasil, por problema económica, la participación de Edelin, sra Marta tampoco estaba decidida. Humanamente ni parecía que podríamos invitar ni aún 50 (como el año pasado).

Por peor, en 15 de Feb, después de natación, por el piso mojado, me caí y se golpeó mi cadera izquierda y ni podía caminar bien. Si un poco hubiera golpeado derecha, mi columna estaría dañada. Gracias a Dios porque Él me salvó mi vida.

Después de la conferencia, compartimos la palabra de Apo 1 y S. Juan 6. “Recuperad el primer amor”. Realmente fue un mensaje por nosotros. Aunque no tuvieramos nada, por causa de amor de Dios, estabamos felices. La maravilla por este primer amor, si no lo recuperamos, Dios quitaría cadelero desde nuestro corazón. Hemos orado para recuperar este primer amor y primer gozo y primera obra. También no teníamos gran fuerza. Pero teníamos 5 panes y 2 peces. Todos pudimos decidir para entregar nuestro 5 panes y 2 peces de oración de madrugada y preparar el mensaje, testimonio con todo corazón. Llegamos a esperar que Dios nos dará 12 cestas llenas (12 candidatos del curso discipulado después de la conferencia).

Con la palabra de S. Juan 6, hna Monica decidió para entregar su trabajo del fin de semana como su 5 panes y 2 peces. Ella estaba ganando 12000 pesos (casi la mitad de un salario de trabajador de full-time) por este trabajo. Pero ella decidió para guardar el culto dominical en vez de este trabajo y decidió para participar más positivamente en esta conferencia. Y sra Marta suspendió su vacación después de la conferencia.

p. Alonso y Lesly eran tesoreras x esta conferencia. P. Alonso trajo la mayoría de inscripciones después de oración de madrugada. En la madrugada, h. Monica, h. Victoria, p. Alonso y p. Nicolas guardaron absolutamente la lámpara de oración en el templo. Antes de la conferencia, última semana ni aún h. Luimy, Kathereen, Maia, y sra Luiba y Gaby, Erendira. Por ellos m. Hannah (que estaba muy cansado por su trabajo –por el viaje de 3 horas cada día) también vino a orar a las 5 AM con m. Don Kuper.Confieso que todo milagro fue en tiempo de oración de la madrugada Con esta oración acumulada, h. Gerson que era único nuevo hermano que estudiaba durante 3 meses con p. Alonso decidió para participar aún 2 días. H. Daniela (que no podía estudiar la Biblia casi 1 año) también decidió para participar. P. Lesly apoyó la inscripción de h. Liumi y prestó dinero por h. Edelin. H. Gabi también inscribió con sus hijas.

Un día antes de la conf, total participantes eran más de 70. Por eso tuvimos una preocupación muy feliz que nos faltaría cama. Había muchos niños de menores de 5 años y muchos adolecentes y debíamos formar grupos apartes. Mientras me di cuenta… aja.. ya tenemos 70. Pero nos falta monton para k los miembros (estudiantes) sean la mayoría. Pero alabo a Dios, porque nos hizo experimentar un milagro de 5 panes y 2 peces. Para este año 2020, tenemos visiones para trabajar más arduamente.

Cada uno entregó sus 5 panes y 2 peces. En la noche de adoración (última noche de la confe) había 5 presentaciones especiales. Entre 5, BsAs sirvió 4. H. Liumi, Kathereen, Maia eran de 10s edades. Ellas presentaron musical y una correografia. M. Ruth preparó un teatro “¿Cómo te llama?” con los hermanos. Paternal UBF también colaboró para entregar el coro por lo mejor practicando 2 veces semana. Sin apurado, pero paso por paso, la preparación se realizó. Así 25 personas inscribieron y en el día de partir la confe, 10 personas inscribieron.

II. En la conferencia

Por fin empezó la conferencia. P. Nicolas entregó el mensaje apertura “¿Qué buscáis?”. Él compartió que Dios le preguntó ¿Qué buscas? Porque él a veces miraba al mundo. h. Camila (LaPlata) sirvió la 1ª lectura (en 1º noche). El año pasado ella entregó su testimonio y fue fiel y este año presentó su mensaje que Jesús es la luz del mundo. m. Noé (BsAs) sirvió la 2ª lectura “Nacer de nuevo”. A Nicodemo que tenía más de 60 años, Jesús dijo que nazca de nuevo si quiere ver el reino de Dios. Significa que todo lo que él tiene no sirve para ver el reino, que empiece volcando todo desde Cero. Era un desafio grande para aprender con máxima humildad. h. Miguel (LaPlata) sirvió 3ª lectura “¿Cómo te llama?”. m. José Ortega (Rosario) sirvió 4ª lectura “Yo soy”. Él tenía mucha lucha interior. Pude sentir su lucha en su mensaje. Él compartió para beber el agua viva en Jesús. p. Lesly (BsAs) sirvió “Ser el obrero aprobado de Dios” (2Tim 2:14-24). Era muy apto como conclusión de la conferencia que preguntaba ¿Qué buscais?. m. JuanCarlos (LaPlata) sirvió la última lectura “Permaneced en mi”. Era muy apto para direccionar clausurando la conferencia. h. Victoria, p. Alonso, h. Kendrick, m. Juan Moon, h. Eleana, m. Hannah K, expusieron su testimonio de la vida. Cada mañana los hermanos y pastores voluntariamente comieron el pan diario. Cada estudio grupal era muy lindo y eficaz. Y un matrimonio de pastor de iglesia local sirvió nuestro comida. Ellos sirvieron muy rica comida y abundante. Los jovenes después de escribir testimonio, no olvidaron jugar.

Última noche, en tiempo de alabanza, Teatro, Musical y correografia de BsAs y Danza tradicional de LaPlata y 2 canciones de los bebés y niñas. Al terminar la conferencia, en BsAs se levantaron 12 personas para participar en el curso discipulado. M. Don prepare 3 grupos (principiantes, intermedios y avanzados). Realmente Dios nos hizo tener 12 cestas llenas. En LaPlata también más de 4 personas inscribieron. Había algo que no tan nos hizo contentos, porque el corazón de los hermanos se encalentaron muy tarde y en ultimo día apenas 5 personas pudieron compartir su testimonio con pasaje de la conferencia. Sentimos que debemos preparar con más anticipaciones. Personalmente doy gracias a m. Don Kuper por su labor, ayudando a los 5 personas que prepararon su testimonio de vida (desde antes de conferencia hasta ultimo momento). Aún poco se tardaron, presentaron y confirmaron la gracia. Por esto alabo a Dios.

III. Bautismo

Y BsAs tuvimos 1º bautismo en 1 de Marzo, 2020. Pude dar bautismo primera vez de mi vida misionera. Era gran honor. Compartí la palabra de Salmo 1, como vaca mastica 4 veces una comida, si nosotros masticamos la palabra de Dios de día y de noche, nuestra vida será como el árbol platado junto al corrientes de agua y nuestra hoja no cae y en tiempo de bondad y (aún) en tiempo difícil tendremos frutos (de la piedad). Con esta palabra, tuvimos bautismo. Los bautizados: Gaston, Kendrick y Victoria. En el principio, planeábamos solo h. Kendrick y h. Victoria. Pero un día antes, h. Gaston tomó decisión para recibir el bautismo porque sintió que le faltaba compromiso. Ni había ropa prestado por él. Pero por la fe, él fue bautizado. Oro que Dios bendiga nuestro ministerio más este año 2020 y se levanten más discípulos de Jesucristo. Que levante más renacidos por el bautismo del Espíritu Santo. Amén. Ahora preparamos la Academia bíblica de Pascua (Abril, 12) y uan conferencia invernal o primaveral (en Julio o Agosto). Pido que Dios nos de fuerza y humildad y su Espíritu para poder servir esa obras. Por todos pasos, que Dios solo sea exaltado. Amén.

2020년 여름 수양회를 은혜 가운데 마쳤습니다. 이 보고서를 통해 하나님께서 행하신 기이한 일을 돌아보고 2020 년 역사의 방향을 잡고자 기도합니다.

수양회는 2 월 22-25 일 사이에 있었습니다. 1 월 브라질 수양회를 섬기고 3 주만에 가진 수양회라 쉽지 않았습니다. 그러나 브라질 수양회에 참석한 자매들의 마음이 많이 열러서 동역을 잘 해주었고, 2019 년 11 월부터 시작된 새벽기도의 불이 이번 수양회를 섬기는 든든한 기초가 되었습니다.

2 월초가 되었지만 수양회 등록의 불이 붙지 않았습니다. 장막팀 멤버였던 캔드릭 형제도 마음이 정해지지 않았고, 주말에 일을 하느라 자주 예배에 빠지는 모니카 자매도, 브라질 수양회를 마치고 돈이 없어서 에델린 자매, 마르따 아주머님의 참석도 불확실했고,, 1 년 넘게 말씀공부를 못한 다니엘라 자매의 참석도 불가능해 보였습니다. 인간적으로는 2019년 만큼의 초청역사 (50명) 도 불확실해 보였습니다.

게다가 15일에는 운동후 미끄러운 바닥에 미끄려저 왼쪽 엉치뼈가 부딛치는 바람에 걷기도 힘들었었습니다. 정말 조금만 비껴나갔어도 척추가 다치던지 할뻔 했었습니다. 저의 생명을 보존하신 하나님께 감사드립니다.

브라질 수양회 이후 저는 계시록 말씀을 나누었습니다. “첫 사랑을 회복하라” 참으로 놀라운 말씀이었습니다. 아무 것도 없어도 그저 사랑하기에 행복하던 그 첫 사랑의 놀라움... 그 사랑을 회복하지 않으면 하나님이 “촛대를 옮겨버리실 수 있는” 징계를 깊이 마음에 새기고 다시 우리 마음에 찬송과 감격을 회복하도록 나누었습니다. 그리고 우리들은 큰 힘이 없지만 “오병이어”는 있음을 나누었습니다.

이에 모니카 자매가 자신의 주말에 하는 일을 ‘오병이어’로 드려야 함을 느끼고 12000뻬소의 수익을 주는 주말 일을 안 하기로 마음을 정하고 수양회 등록을 마음을 정하였습니다. 일반 full time 근무자 월급이 2 만원가량임을 생각할 때 그 오병이어는 참으로 귀한 것이었습니다. 그리고 마르따 아주머니도 휴가를 뒤로 미루고 수양회 참석을 정하였습니다.

등록비를 관리하는 것은 알론소와 산드라 목자가 담당하였는데 대부분의 등록비는 새벽기도 이후 제게 가져오곤 했습니다. 새벽기도에 형제들의 참석이 꾸준했습니다. 모니카, 빅토리아 자매들이 자리를 절대적으로 지키고 올론소, 니꼴라스 목자가 절대적으로 섬겼습니다. 이에 자극을 받고 3,4 시간 출근시간으로 피곤하셨던 한나 쿠퍼 선교사님도 새벽 5 시 새벽기도 모임을 참석하여

형제들에게 큰 힘을 주었습니다. 수양회 마지막 주에는 니우바, 에렌디라 아주머니도 그리고 10 대였던 캐터린, 리우미, 마야 자매도 새벽기도에 참석하였습니다. 모든 기적은 새벽기도에서 일어났습니다. 새벽기도를 하고나면 등록비를 걷어서 제게 가져오곤 했습니다.

기도가 쌓여가면서 2019 년 3 개월 이상 일대일을 꾸준히 하던 Gerson 형제가 2 일 참석을 결정하였고 다니엘라 자매도 결정했고, 산드라 목자는 리우미 자매의 등록비를 대신 내어주면서 오병이어를 드렸고 에델린 자매의 동록비도 빌려주었습니다. 가브리엘라 아주머니도 그 딸들과 동록을 하였습니다.

그리고 각자가 오병이어를 드렸습니다. 그래서 경배의 밤에 특별프로그램 5 개중 4 개를 Buenos Aires 지부에서 섬긴 것을 드릴 수 있었습니다. 사춘기에 있는 리우바, 캐터린, 마야 자매들은 Life House 뮤지컬과 댄싱을 알론소 목자와 같이 섬겨 드렸습니다. 그리고 룻 선교사가 준비한 “네 이름이 무엇이냐” 연극을 형제들과 목자들이 섬겼고 메시지는 노아 선교사와 니꼴라스, 산드라 목자의 몫으로 섬겼습니다. 그리고 BsAs 와 가까이 위치한 Paternal 지부에서도 매주 2,3 번씩 오셔서 특송연습, 경배프로그램 연습을 하며 동역했습니다. 수양회 준비가 조급하지 않게,,, 그러나 잔잔하게 수양회 준비가 이루어져갔습니다. 수양회 등록역사도 25 명 가량 이루어졌고, 수양회 당일 10명 가량 등록 가능성이 있었습니다.

메신저인 노아 선교사는 매일 저녁 센터를 지키며 말씀을 연구했고, 니꼴라스 목자는 개회 메신저인만큼 메시지 준비의 완성도가 제일 빨랐습니다. 그리고 산드라 목자의 메시지는 준비하면 할 수록 수양회 주제인 “네가 무엇을 찾느냐”에 대한 대답이 되는 말씀이었습니다. 디모데후서 2 장 15 절, 22 절... “하나님께 인정된 일꾼이 되기를 구하라” ... 청년의 정욕을 피하라는 (원래) 주제보다 더 적합하여 수양회 프로그램에 그 메시지의 제목 수정을 요구해야 했었습니다.

수양회 전날 통계를 내보니 70 명이 넘어서 잠자리가 부족할 수 있겠다는 행복한 걱정도 들었습니다. 그리고 5 살 이하의 아이들이 많았습니다. 그리고 15 살 이하의 아이들도 많아서 다른 그룹을 만들어야 했습니다.

형제들과 자매들의 그룹공부를 구성하면서 느낀 것은 ... 아... 아직 우리가 거품이 많구나... 75명 등록을 하더라도 15-20 명이 아이들이었습니다. 그러나 50 명.. 그리고 그 중 25 명의 메인 멤버들,,, 기도와 오병이어로 이루어진 기적들이었다고 고백하고 싶습니다. 그리고 2020 년 더 열심히 일 할 마음을 갖게 되었습니다.

드디어 수양회 출발 당일이 되었습니다.

첫째날 수양회 프로그램은 저녁 7 시반부터 시작하였습니다.

니꼴라스 순종 목자가 요한복음 1 장 말씀으로 “너희가 무엇을 찾느냐” 개회말씀을 섬겼습니다. 그리고 자꾸 곁눈질하며 방황하는 자신을 향해 “네가 무엇을 찾느냐?” 물으시는 하나님을 증거했습니다. 1 강 메시지를 LaPlata 까밀라(Camila) 자매가 요섬겼습니다. 작년 인생소감을 드린 후 꾸준히 성장하여 메시지를 섬길 정도로 성장한 모습을 보았습니다. 2 강은 BsAs 노아 선교사가 섬겼습니다. 60 살이 넘은 니고데모에게 “네가 가진 것은 하나님 나라를 보기에 적합한 것이 아니다. 싹 다 뒤집어 엎고 다시 배워라” “네가 거듭나지 않으면 하나님 나라를 볼 수 없다”는 말씀을 묵상하게 되었습니다. 거듭남의 놀라움... 3 강은 LaPlata 의 미겔 형제가 섬겼습니다. “네 이름이 무엇이냐” 4 강은 Rosario 의 José Ortega 선교사가 섬겼습니다. “내가 그로라” 최근 내적인 고통이 많은 그 선교사의 투쟁을 깊이 느낄 수 있었습니다. 5 강은 BsAs 의 산드라 목자가 “하나님께 인정된 일꾼으로 자신을 드리기 힘쓰라” 말씀을 섬겼습니다. 6 강 말씀으로 후안 까를로스 선교사가 “내 안에 거하라” 말씀을 나누었습니다. 수양회를 정리하는 방향으로 매우 적합하였습니다.

수양회 매일 아침엔 양식모임을 형제들이 자체적으로 모여 양식을 먹으면서 시작하였고, 그룹공부모임은 항상 새롭고 은혜로웠습니다. 그리고 지역교회의 목사님 내외분이 식사를 준비하셔서 매번 매우 풍성한 식사를 하게 되었습니다. 젊은이들은 소감을 쓴 후 틈틈히 운동을 잊지 않았습니다. 그리고 마지막 밤 경배의 시간에는 BsAs 지부에서 준비한 연극과 뮤지컬, 꼬맹이들의 노래, LaPlata 팀의 전통댄싱이 있었습니다. 이번엔 어린 아이들과 10대들이 많이 참석하여 이들을 따로 그룹을 만들어서 그 수준에 맞는 말씀공부를 해야 했습니다. 산드라목자가 10 대들, 에렌디라 선교사가 5 살 미만의 아이들을 돌보았습니다.

그리고 제자코스 지원자를 (기도하던) 12 명 이상을 얻었습니다. 부에노스와 Paternal 을 합하여 6-8 명, LaPlata 4-5 명...

물론 아쉬움도 있었습니다. 저희 중에 새 학생양은 이틀만 참석한 Gerson 형제밖에 없었다는 점이요. 75 명중 어린 아이들이 20 명가량 있었다는 점이며, 형제들의 마음에 불이 너무 늦게 붙어서 주제 말씀을 통한 소감이 25 일에서야 발표되어 마지막 강의 이후 거의 5명이 발표했다는 점입니다. 더욱 메신저의 준비가 이루어질 것과 특히 모든 인생소감과 메시지가 수양회 전에 이루어져야 할 필요를 느꼈습니다. 개인적으로 저는 이번 소감강사들의 준비가 막바지에 막 결정됨으로 단 쿠퍼 선교사님이 5 명을 도우시면서 참 수고하셨습니다. 그렇게라도 발표된 것을 감사드립니다.

그리고 BsAs 지부는 2020년 3월1일 (삼일절을 맞이하여) 역사적 첫 세례식을 가졌습니다. 1998년 선교사로 나아와서 22년차,,, 처음으로 세례를 주게 된 것이었습니다. 시편1편 말씀을 따라 각 사람이 소가 4번이상 먹은 것을 되새김질 하듯이 말씀을 묵상하면 우리가 시냇가에 심기운 나무와 같이 그 잎사귀가 마르지 아 니하며 평안의 때던, 힘든 때던 아름다운 열매를 맺게 될 것을 이야기하였습니다. 그리고 세례식을 가졌습니다. 원래는 캔드릭과 빅토리아 두사람을 세례할 생각이었습니다. 그러나 세례식 전날 자신이 이젠 하나님을 섬기는 일에 서약을 드려야 할 것 같다며 가스톤 형제가 마음을 정하고 참석하였습니다. 옷이 준비된 것이 없어서 평복이었지만 믿음으로 세례를 받았습니다. 하나님께서 2020년 역사를 크게 축복하시며 더 많은 예수님의 제자들이 일어나기를 기도합니다. 성령 세례를 받아 그 죄의 자아가 죽고 하나님께서 허락하시는 새 사람이 저희 가운데 일어나기를 기도합니다.

형제들이 이번 수양회와 세례식을 섬기면서 믿음이 많이 생겨서 BsAs 최초로 2020년에는 자체 겨울 수양회를 갖자는 제안이 있었습니다. 날자는 7월 9-12일, 장소는 미정입니다. 현재로서는 10시간 거리의 Cordoba 지방 도시를 장차 개척할 비전 가운데 그곳에서 제자수양회로 갖고자 합니다. 그리고 4월 12일 부활절 성경학교를 갖고자 기도하고 있습니다. 하나님께서 이를 섬길 힘과 겸손, 성령을 더하시기를 기도합니다. 이 모든 과정 가운데 하나님께서 영광 받으심을 감사드립니다.
