2020 Korea UBF New Year Staff Conference was Held on Dec. 9-11, 2019 (KOREA) (English/Korean)

FOR EVEN THE SON OF MAN

On Dec. 9-11, 2019, Korea UBF held a New Year’s National Staff Conference at Hanwha Resorts in Yong-in province in Korea with the title, "For even the Son of Man" Total of 92 people attended including a few oversea missionaries. 

On the first day, UBF General director P. Moses Yoon delivered the main lecture based on Mark 10:32-45 entitled, “For even the Son of Man did not Come to be Served, but to Serve”.

We realized that Jesus wants us to learn Jesus' servantship and build up a loving community in and among us by following the good and perfect example of Jesus.

After the lecture Paul Kim who came from Choonchun UBF gave a special lecture with the title "Suggestion of Worship Strategy for the Restoration of Community Spirit of Young College Students” with Q & A (Question & Answer).

After then, M. David Kim (Indianapolis, UBF world mission department), M. Ezra Cho (Washington, UBF education department), Dr. Agustine Suh Chicago (UBF education department), Dr. Joseph & M. Maria Ahn (Chicago), M. Esther Cho (Washington), M. Paul & Sarah Hong (Toledo), M. Luke & Rebecca Lim (Uganda) shared their thanks & prayer topics.

Especially, M. Luke Lim visited Korea because he was awarded prizes on both by Korea Foreign minister and priest Lee Tae-seok who recognized his sacrificial medical services for African people in Uganda. And M. John Kim also was awarded a prize from Korea Prime minister because of his medical service for the people of Nepal (Due to his busy schedule he was not able to attend our conference).

On the second day, Abraham Cho in Suncheon UBF delivered the second main message entitled, “See, I am doing a new thing!” with the full of spirit. Through his message, we realized that God had done new things for each of us in this year hoping that God would do same thing for us in the coming year. In the evening, 5 staffs shared representative testimonies. Right after, a special lecture was following with the title, “Strategies of campus evangelization with Five loaves and two fish” and the meeting was wrapped up with prayers for campus ministry for Korea and the world.

On the third day, Paul Moon from Yeongnam UBF delivered a heart moving message with the title, “Continue in what you have learned” based on 2 Timothy 3:1-17. His message encouraged us to live as powerful witnesses of the gospel continuously in this perverse generation. Afterward, there was a report of the Oceania Summer Bible Conference by Elijah Ahn (Sogang UBF) and each department’s report was followed. UBF General director P. Moses Yoon shared the work of God around the world with prayer topics. Lastly, Korea UBF Director Moses Lee also shared national prayer topics which led all of us to finish the meeting with fervent prayers.

2020년 신년 스탭목자 수양회

 
 
다가오는 2020년 새 해의 영적 방향을 말씀에 기초해서 잡고자 2019년 12월 9일부터 11일까지 경기도 용인 한화 베잔송에서 ‘인자가 온 것은(막10:45)’이라는 주제로 스탭목자 수양회를 가졌습니다. 참석인원은 선교사들 포함 총 92명입니다. 
 
첫째 날에는 세계대표 윤모세 목자님이 주제1강 ‘인자가 온 것은(막10:32-45)’이라는 주제의 메시지를 힘차게 전했습니다. 이 메시지를 통해 섬기러 오신 예수님을 잘 배워 사랑의 공동체를 이루어가고자 방향을 잡게 되었습니다. 메시지 이후 춘천센터의 김바울 목자가 ‘한국교회 청년대학생의 공동체성 회복을 위한 예배 방안’이라는 주제로 예배학 특강을 했고 열띤 질의・응답 시간이 있었습니다. 이후 세계본부의 선교부와 교육부 스탭 선교사들인 김다윗(인디에나폴리스)・조에스라(워싱턴)・서어거스틴(시카고)/미국 시카고의 안요셉・마리아/미국 워싱턴의 조에스더/미국 톨레도의 홍바울・사라/아프리카 우간다의 임누가・레베카 선교사들의 인사 및 기도제목 발표가 있었습니다. 대구UBF 출신의 임누가(현석) 선교사는 아프리카에서의 헌신적인 의료봉사로 인해 외교부장관 상 및 이태석 신부 상을 받기 위해 입국했다가 수양회에 참석했으며, 바쁜 일정으로 수양회에 참석하지는 못했지만 광주3부UBF 출신의 김요한(병철) 선교사는 네팔에서의 헌신적인 의료봉사로 국무총리 상을 받았습니다. 
 
둘째 날에는 순천의 조아브라함 목자가 주제2강 ‘보라, 내가 새 일을 행하리라(사43:1-21)’는 메시지를 성령 충만한 가운데 전했습니다. 이 메시지를 통해 우리는 하나님께서 올 한해에 각 사람 속에 새 일을 행하셨던 발자취를 확인할 수 있었으며 다가오는 새 해에도 새 일을 행하실 것을 확신하게 되었습니다. 저녁에는 나영호(광운)・김용석(용인)・송노원(경기)・이누가(안암2)・김여호수아(관악7) 목자가 대표소감을 발표했습니다. 이어서 강득현(한강) 목자가 ‘전도 활성화를 위한 오병이어’라는 주제로 특강을 했으며, 이후 세계선교와 한국캠퍼스전도를 위해 합심하여 기도했습니다. 
 
셋째 날에는 영남센터의 문바울 목자가 주제3장 ‘너는 배우고 확신한 일에 거하라(딤후3:1-17)’는 메시지를 감동적으로 전했습니다. 이 메시지를 통해 영적으로 혼탁한 이 시대에도 복음의 진리 안에 굳게 서며 힘차게 복음의 증거자들로 살고자 결단했습니다. 이후 있었던 스탭 미팅에서 안엘리야(서강) 목자가 호주여름수양회 보고를 했고, 부장들의 각 부별 보고가 있었고, 세계대표 윤모세 목자님이 일 년간 선교지에서 있었던 주요한 일들에 대한 경과를 보고하고 기도제목을 제시했으며, 마지막으로 한국대표 이모세 목자님이 전체 기도제목을 제시한 후 함께 모여 뜨거운 기도로 수양회를 마쳤습니다.
