SERBIA Continuing Missionary Education (CME) REPORT

"Follow the Spirit" (Galatians 5:16)

On August 25-27, Samuel and Anna L. from Korea visited Serbia and served us CME with the theme, "The Holy Spirit" based on 1 John. I learned the importance of following the Spirit's guidance. This Bible study changed my view to understand the Holy Spirit. Before I mainly thought about the power of the Holy Spirit who fills its immense power in my soul. However, I newly learned that it is important to let the Holy Spirit rule over my life holistically and follow its guidance day by day.  

Through the study of the 1 John, I also learned that it is important not only to engage the relationship with the Holy Spirit but also building up friendship and co-working among members. I always thought of importance of having a good relationship with God, but somewhat I have neglected myself to endeavor to build up mutual relationships with coworkers. Above all, it was a great time for us to have them as senior missionaries who understand the environments of mission fields serving us with deep communications like our parents. The Bible studies were practically approached us as they shared their life experiences as well. I really wish that the CME should be served more often and regularly so that missionaries who are in remote places like us would be greatly encouraged.

세르비아 CME

성령을 따라 행하라

"성령을 따라 행하라" (갈 5:16)

8월 25-27일에 이사무엘, 안나 선교사님들의 CME가 있었습니다. 저희는 성령론과 요한일서를 공부했습니다. 성령론 공부를 통해서 성령을 따라 사는 삶의 중요성을 배웠습니다. 그리고 전에는 성령충만을 말할 때 성령의 파워만을 생각했는데, 그것이 아니라 저희의 삶의 주도권을 성령님께 내어드리는 것이라는 것, 실제 삶 가운데서 섬세하게 성령님의 인도하심을 따르는 것임을 새롭게 배우게 되었습니다. 

그리고 요한일서 공부를 통하여 사귐과 동역의 중요성을 대해서 배우게 되었습니다. 그 동안 하나님과의 사귐을 중요하다고 생각했지만 여러 가지 이유로 성도간의 사귐에 대해서는 소홀히 한 점이 있었습니다. 무엇보다도 선교지 상황을 잘 이해하시는 시니어 선교사님들께서 부모님처럼 깊이 대화해주시고, 그 동안의 삶의 체험과 함께 실제적으로 말씀을 섬겨주셔서 너무나 좋았습니다. 바라는 점이 있다면 정기적으로 CME가 이루어진다면 많은 쳅터들, 그리고 외로운 쳅터들에 큰힘이 될것입니다.
