Dr. Moses Junki Chung

Dr. Moses J. Chung and Rebekah Chung visited Cambodian UBF on December 1 and stayed in Phnom Penh for one month, sharing intimate fellowship with them. Dr. Chung met them one by one personally and shared his knowledge of Christian history. At the Cambodian UBF Conference held in late December 2018, Chung gave a public lecture, explaining the early stage of church history. Our Cambodian Missionaries realized the importance of church history. History helps to correctly evaluate the nature of God’ mission.

-Inductive Bible Study - Missionary Shepherd Conference

-After the ISBC 2018, a Missionary-Shepherd Conference (MSC) held at the Galt House Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, from August 12-14. 190 people from 28 different countries participated. The first evening, on Sunday, a presentation was given on inductive Bible study by Dr. Mark Yang and P. Ron Ward.

Monday morning an introduction to Hebrews was presented by P. Ron.

The last day morning, after finishing four lessons, an overview of the entire book was presented by Mark Yang.

This was followed by a time of reflection writing and sharing. For each Bible study, we divided into 22 groups of 8 or 9 people. There were English, Spanish, and Korean speaking groups. Participants ranged in age from 20 years old to 70, from diverse cultural backgrounds. Since many people had not studied Hebrews, we worried that it might be overwhelming to study so intensely, especially for young people. But people responded so well. They really enjoyed the word of God. Inductive Bible study is like a treasure hunt. No key verses or titles were suggested for any of the lessons. The participants were encouraged to find their own key verses and titles as they studied together. As we studied together, we could have genuine fellowship in the word of God. There was so much joyful laughter emanating from different groups at different times constantly. In this way we could overcome generational and cultural gaps and experience having one heart and spirit

Msn. Samuel H Lee

- Served 21 missionaries at Chukryung Mount Retreat Home(CMRH) in Korea. (encouraging them with good food, sharing the word of God, praying together, showing beautiful places. Total visitors of CMRH in 2018 were 72,)

Missionary Samuel H Lee was appointed to serve CME as a chair, succeeding missionary John Jun by General director missionary Moses Yoon on 26 January 2019.

Main prayers for CME 2019 are as below.

1. Team ministry: more servants will join to work together to serve CME 2019

2. Serving according to needs or asks of mission fields as possible.

3. Mainly CME will be European and CIS chapters

4. Serving more than 30 missionaries at Chukryung Mount Retreat Home(CMRH)
