BASIC CHRISTIANITY

Although Makerere campus opened since August 12, Missionary Luke, Shepherd Steven and I were in the USA attending the 2018 ISBC. And Missionary Grace was also in South Korea. So we could not have a program except one day conference for serving freshmen. But by God's grace, we could start the Bible academy one month after campus opened. The theme of the Bible academy was about the basic Christianity.

We prayed that Bible students, especially, freshmen may learn about the basic Christianity and live a victorious and meaningful campus life. Thankfully, God sent average 15 students to the Bible academy including several freshmen. Although our local leaders were very busy, they served their parts faithfully.

Our fall semester prayer topics are:

First, we may go to campus for fishing or visiting at least once a week as campus shepherds,  so we may stay alert and watch over campus students knowing campus spiritual situation.

Second, we pray for God’s blessing on our Matthew Bible study and Sunday messages continuously and giving us next book for Bible study after one month.

Third, we pray for our six intern doctors who will finish their internship at the end of September.  We are praying for them to get jobs in the mission field and prepare to establish house churches They are Enock, Michael, Stella, Innocent, Marion, and Tom. We are praying for some candidates for establishing house churches: Ivan, Miriam, Allen, Deborah, Nelson, Martin, Arnold, and Innocent (businessman).

Fourth, we pray for new direction for a revival of individual fellowship. Due to a busy schedule of fellowship leaders,  they could not serve individual fellowship ministry actively. May God give us wisdom and faith to serve campus ministry and disciple-making ministry.

Fifth, we pray for the construction work. There are many steps to move forward with the construction work. May God give us faith to move forward step by step until we complete this great work.

Many thanks,
