2018 Korea UBF spring staff conference, report

Korea UBF spring staff conference was held for spring campus ministry & preparation of upcoming ISBC, from Apr 16-18 at Haenaru Family Hotel at Byeonsan in Korea. The conference theme was “ The seed sprouts and grows” (Mark 4:27).

The conference started with the Bible study on Mark 4:21-34 divided in groups. After taking dinner fellowship, there was a preview presentation of the three lectures before the ISBC which will be delivered by three Korean staffs shepherds at the ISBC interest group sessions (IG). They were Sh. John Park-Lecture 1 (The Reformation & UBF Faith, Gwangju 2), Sh. Changwon Kim - Lecture 2 (A balanced approach about Justification & Sanctification, Gwanak 1), Sh. Caleb Kim - Lecture 3 (New Apostolic Reformation- Who are you? - Right Holy Spirit movement, Jongro 1).

The next day we were strolling along the beach, having activities and quiet time in Bible reading and prayer. In the evening Sh. Moses Kim (Anam 1) gave lecture 4 “ Why should we be interested in the study of Catechism? (A New Preaching for Heidelberg Catechism).

And this followed by lecture 5 Sh. Stephan Ahn (Han Nam) “Biblical interpretation and application” on Revelation”. The lectures followed by a serious question and answer session. On the third day morning we had a Bible study lecture 6 “Who is this?” on Mark 4:35-5:20) divided into groups. At the end we had a staff meeting; Sh. Moses Lee (Korea Director) encouraged all to depend on the power of the word of Mark’s gospel and to diligently serve in one to one in spring campus ministry, and to pray earnestly for ISBC in USA as well.
