IT IS FINISHED 

“When he had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished”. With that, he bowed his head and gave up his spirit”

Assiut UBF Chapter held 2018 Easter conference on March 30-31.

The theme of the conference was "It is Finished!" 45 students from Assiut University attended the conference.

Shepherdess Rose Peter delivered an opening message under the title “Give me your heart” based on (Proverbs 23: 26). Shepherd Ayman Ghawy delivered main message one, “Shall I not drink the cup” based on (John 18: 1- 11).  Brother Ayman Awad delivered second day morning devotion under the title “The truth will set you free” based on (John 8:31, 32) Brother Wahil Salah delivered main message two, “It is finished” based on (John 19:16-30). Shepherd Mamdou Salah delivered main message three, "I have seen the Lord" (Jn 20: 1- 31). Dr. Oyor Moses delivered closing message “You will be my witnesses” based on (Acts 1:1-11).

Through this conference we learnt much about Jesus who willingly took the cup of suffering, died and rose from the dead to save us from our sin and gave us eternal hope in his kingdom. A student named Mark Morkos was touched by the word of God and repented his sins with tears. The spiritual environment was full of joy and zeal in studying the word of God. Dr. Oyor Moses. Rose Peter, Ayman Ghawy, Mina Wasfi, Luiz Benjamin and Ayhab Maros led group bible studies. Brothers, Wahil hatif, Amjet Refahat, Luiz Benjamin and sister Sena Akim shared their life testimonies.

After the conference we had a leaders meeting in Mamdouh house and discussed the best strategy for taking care of this big number of students. The meeting was attended by Mamdou, Evon, Rose Peter, Ayman and Dr. Oyor Moses. We agreed to assign each student to specific shepherd among ourselves. In order to do that, it is very important to have bible house. We assigned Mamdou to look for a good apartment near campus. Fortunately he got a very good apartment very near to campus. May God help us to rent that apartment and to complete the process of registration successfully.

Prayer topics

1- Faithful bible study and worship services every week in Cairo and Assuit chapters.
2- God raise Mamdou and Ayman as excellence bible teachers
3- Evon and Hanna to grow as mothers of prayer for Egypt and Arab world.
4- To rent a Centre for Assiut UBF in a suitable location.
5- May God raise 12 disciple of Jesus and 12 women of prayer in Assuit chapter within two
years time.
6- May God send 5 university students to Cairo chapter
7- Cairo UBF chapter to have Easter conference on 13 April
8- To raise Ehaab, Issac and Mina as shepherds in Assuit chapter
9- Shep. Rose Peter to successfully complete PhD study
10- To pioneer 33 Universities of Egypt
11- Egypt to send 3 missionaries by the year 2041
12- Peace in Egypt
