2017 Annual Report - Netherlands

Key verse: 1 Thessalonians 5:15-18

“Make sure that nobody pays back wrong for wrong, but always try to be kind to each other and to everyone else. Be joyful always; pray continually; give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.”

We came to the Kingdom of Netherlands on February 16, 2017. It was not easy for me and my family to settle down due to unexpected hardships. There were no coworkers, which made us spiritually idle and plunged us into spiritual loneliness. It was a hard struggle to have worship service every Sunday. Most of all I neglected praying to God keeping complaining of my health problem, which clearly revealed my lack of faith and unfaithful attitude before God.

Nevertheless God was patient with me and helped me realize how weak and unworthy sinner I was. I now see that I must pray for myself and my family and Leiden University students.

My prayer topics are as follows:

1.    To have regular early morning prayers

2.    To prepare Sunday worship messages with all my heart

3.    To visit Leiden campus at least once a week

4.    To have one to one Bible studies with Dutch students

5.    To have little Peter and little Susie as coworkers for Dutch mission.
