GOOD NEWS OF GREAT JOY!

We thank you for coming all the way from Chicago to LA to bless the new house church of Abraham Song Jr. and Bobae. We had Christmas worship service on 24th of December.

Shepherd Alexei delivered the message with the title of 'Good news of great joy for all the people'. He used to think that joy comes from getting a job, a reward or earning a lot of money but he lost his job in November. During the preparation of his message he deeply meditated about Jesus and found that Jesus himself is Good news of great joy. His testimonial message was graceful. Paul Choi (Msn. Isaac Choi's son) and the second generations prepared a skit. Paul wrote the scenario and made the skit dynamic by combining brilliant idea and modern video image. In spite of short practice time because of school exams, the skit was good and successful. The orchestra played by 2nd gens was heart moving and encouraged us with joy and spirit.

For Christmas worship we studied four lessons - The righteous Zachariah, Mary's praise, Jesus the horn of salvation and Good news of great joy for all people. Personally I confess that Jesus the horn of salvation is my power to overcome darkness and the baby Jesus in a lowly manger my Savior who took all my sins and curses.

Praise the baby Jesus and the risen Christ!
