Last week on 8th December, We held a Christmas Bible Academy. We borrowed a classroom of Simon Bolivar University. We had broken heart for the students who want to leave Venezuela due to hopeless, dark political, economic and social situations. We also wanted to invite some students to our Christmas Sunday worship service on 17th December. We chose Isaiah 9:6, "A baby is born to you!"

We prayed that the baby Jesus, who is Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father and Prince of peace, might give hope and vision to the students. To our surprise, so many students thronged to fill the auditorium. We sang special songs, played a Christmas drama. We preached Jesus as the Savior for the students and Venezuela. All the students listened to the message sincerely and enjoyed dinner and fellowship so joyfully. We found a new hope in Jesus for the students and Venezuela. Pray for us to overcome the darkest period by faith in Jesus who is the true hope for all nations.
