On April 17-19 Korea UBF held its spring staff conference with a total of 72 attendants at The Hansol Oak Valley in Wonju, South Korea. We studied two lectures on Luke 9:1-17 titled, " You give them something to eat" and "You are the Christ" from Luke 9:18-36. There were also special lectures and presentations for reading research. Through the lectures we newly learned about Jesus' great compassion for lost souls. We also newly confessed before God that " Jesus is the Christ" making a clear decision to follow the way of the cross as his disciples.

In the first evening there was a special lecture, "About the Problem and Alternative For Campus Ministry" given by Shepherd Stephen Ahn of Hanam UBF. He stressed that in order to make a vitalization for campus ministry we need to have a new awareness, understanding and a challenging spirit for young college students when we serve one to ones, small group Bible studies, worship, raising disciples and evangelization.

Following the lecture there were research presentations entitled, "College Sophomore Syndrome" which most college students go through these days, given by four shepherds.  Among them Sh. Daniel Byeon introduced a TV documentary TV program on College Sophomore Syndrome and its diagnoses. Sh. Choongsin Han: "Its distinct features", Sh. Daniel Shin: "Its therapy method", Sh. Changmoo Lee: "The work of Anam UBF which focused on college sophomores", Daniel Byeon: "With what words can we take care of college sophomores these days?"

Through this we deeply learned about college sophomore syndrome, and we found out that its fundamental way of therapy method for them is to simply teach them the word of God. Based on the presentation of research we will continue to develop its research so that we will help them more effectively in Christ Jesus. The next day we had sports activities having joyful fellowship with one another along with enjoying physical and spiritual rest.

In conclusion Sh. David Kim the director of Korea UBF said that UBF members have been obedient to Jesus’ command, “You give them something to eat" We need to continue and actively to obey his command by feeding sheep as our five loaves and two fish for Korea and world campus ministry even in difficult situations.
