1 Corinthians 15: 57-58 "But thanks be to God! He gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain."

Thank God because he has saved us through the blood of Jesus, who gives us hope in the kingdom of God. Many thanks to God, who is using us in the redemptive history of Cuautitlán, even though we are weak. Our family has begun to serve a gospel work of UNAM FES Cuautitlán since 2010. But there were no faithful sheep in that work. For example, disciple candidate Marisol, who lived a common life in Cuautitlán UBF after the first year of university, left us in January of 2016 when she found another job, which was very far from the church.

And Shepherdess Juliana, who was a good coworker after the beginning of the ministry, said goodbye in June because of the wedding matter. When these two faithful collaborators left, we became very discouraged. At that time God gave us the word from 1 Corinthians 15:58. We regained spiritual strength through this word, and we began the gospel work again. God had great mercy on us because Audiel remained faithful in the history of Cuautitlán, making the decision to follow Jesus as his disciple by participating in the Sunday worship service. When Brother Audiel safeguarded his faith in God well, God blessed us to reclaim disciple candidate Marisol, and she made the decision to live by faith.

First, Sister Rosa has made a decision to live in the Cuautitlán UBF church since July, and has accepted Jesus as her Savior through faithful Bible study, gaining a victory in her academic career (telecommunication engineer) by faith. And Sister Brenda also has gained a victory in her career depending on God. Recently, she is participating in Sunday Worship Service faithfully.

Second, disciple candidate Marisol returned to the ministry repenting of her selfishness, and she participated in the preaching on Saturdays. Third, Brother Jose greatly changed his attitude toward studying the Bible. In the beginning, he had no desire to study the Bible. But the words that fell on his heart grew, and he accepted Jesus as his Savior. I pray that God will bless him to grow as a good disciple of Jesus.

Fourth, we give many thanks for the 14 participants in the Christmas Worship Service. We give many thanks to Brother Audiel, disciple candidate Marisol, Sister Brenda, and Sister Rosa for participating in the work of inviting sheep to the Christmas Worship Service.

I praise our Lord who gave us his word from 1 Corinthians 15:58 and who helped Brother Audiel remain and for God’s work of restoration. I pray that we may give our 5 loaves and 2 fish of preaching the gospel and prayer to God, having a shepherd heart to save the lost souls of the Cuautitlán mission field(M. Daniel BaeK: Trans. from Spanish into English by Shpds. Diana).

One word: Our work in the Lord is not in vain although we fall short!
