2016 Kwangju UBF United Christmas Worship Service, Korea

On Dec 24, 2016 Kwangju UBF 1,2,3,6,7 had a united Christmas worship service at the KT building in Kwangju, Korea in which 480 members attended. Sh. David Park (Kwangju 3) delivered a powerful and heart moving message entitled, “A Savior Has Been Born to You” on Luke 2:1-20. Although Jesus is the Son of God, King of Kings and Lord of Lords, he humbled himself and came down from heaven and was born in manger in order to participate in the suffering of weak and fatalistic people. There have been many kings, but only Jesus is the true King and Savior because he solved the greatest human problem of sin and death through his death on the cross and resurrection. Before and after the message, the Kwangju UBF chorus sang “Marching for the Victory” and “O Holy Night” which was wonderful.

JBF members cheerfully performed CCD and UBF shepherdesses performed a beautiful fan dance. The highlight of the service was the drama “Is There an Empty Room?” performed by the student leaders. Many attendees shed tears because of the heart moving story of baby Jesus. We praise and gave thanks with all our hearts to Jesus our Lord who came to this world as a baby in manger as a friend of sinners. We pray that we may accept baby Jesus as our Savior King with a humble heart and mind. May God accept our offerings for the India Bible Center.
