2017 ME New Year Conference was held at Flamingo Hotel in Larnaca, Cyprus, Dec. 23-25, 2016. Cyprus is a hometown of Barnabas and there are some historic places for St. Paul’s journey such as Salamis and Paphos. A total of 46 people (including 15 second gens) from 8 countries (Lb, Ly, S, Q, U, USA, Korea & Greece) attended the conference.

First, through the words of God delivered by Dr. Abraham Kim (2 Peter 3), S. Moses Lee (Acts 28) and 8 messengers of Beatitudes (Mt. 5) we learned to look forward to the day of God and decided to live holy and godly lives.

Second, for the first time during the conference, we celebrated our Savior Jesus’ birth through Christmas special programs such as 2ndgens’ testimonies and Christmas carols.

Third, the Arab shepherds, S. M and S. Elijah (K) were used as messengers and became coworkers of ME ministry.

Fourth, 2nd gens who were mostly high school students had their own conference. S. Rebekah Choi from Korea served them by God’s words and love.
