On July 8-11, Gwanak3 UBF held its SBC at UNESCO Peace Center at Kyoungki province in Korea. God blessed the SBC with 132 attendees (99 leaders and 33 new sheep). It was not easy for our coworkers to focus on the preparation of the SBC right after pouring out all their energies on serving WMR and Missionaries from overseas.

But God greatly encouraged all our coworkers to have faith in Him through preparation of Bible studies on "Seven Loaves and Two Fish" (Mark 8), and “If You Can? Said Jesus, Everything Is Possible For One Who Believes" (Mark 9). God was pleased with their seven loaves and two fish faith and God blessed them by sending 33 precious new sheep to the SBC. We thank God for raising four student messengers (Moses Lee Jr, Gideon Bae, Daehyun Choi, and Jihoon Shin) among ten messengers through the SBC. They, along with six laymen messengers poured out their hearts during message preparation, attending all the prayer meetings each evening (11:00 PM) while staying at Gwanak UBF center.

We thank God for the messengers and testimony speakers. They were: Byunyon Bum- Main lecture 1, "Jesus, The Living Water" (John 4); Gideon Kang- Main lecture 2, "The Cross of Jesus" (Luke 23); Daniel Park- Main lecture 3, "Do You Love Me?" (John 21).

Joseph Cho- Opening message; Gideon Bae- Evening lecture 1, “For The Son of Man Came To Seek and To Save The Lost" (Luke 19); Jungsoo Park- Evening lecture 2, “The Love of God Who Gave His One and Only Son" (John 3).

Daehyun Choi- Morning message, “A Tax Collector's Humble Prayer" (Luke 18); Sungmook Yoon- Evening lecture 2, “Father's Love For Prodigal Son" (Luke15); Moses Lee Jr- Morning lecture 2, “They Shall Be White As Snow" (Isaiah 1); JIhoon Shin- Morning lecture 3, “The Light of Life" (John 8)

On the third day John Yoon and Timothy Ha served graceful duo-drama based on John 21.

Conclusion: We thank God for His abundant blessing upon 2016 Gwanak 3 SBC. Though the attending number of new sheep to the SBC were less than our goal, it was an unprecedented SBC filled with more powerful messages and deep repentant testimonies than ever before. Most of all we thank God in establishing a Mark disciple team consisting of 10 new precious sheep right after the SBC. 

We pray that God may continue to bless our fall semester ministry by raising 12 student disciples through Mark discipleship team training, raising 120 professor/shepherds, 7,000 disciples among SNU students and enabling them to participate in the sending of 100,000 missionaries to the world by 2041.
