On July 7 -10, 2016 Jongro 2 UBF held a graceful summer conference at Chuyang House, which was the same place the guests of 2016 WMR had stayed after finishing the meetings. There were 125 attendees including 31 new student sheep.

The theme of the conference was "This Is Love" based on 1 John 4:10. We chose this title because we wanted to deeply meditate on God's true love and to make His true love known to this lack of love generation.  God did not spare his one and only Son, but gave Him up as a ransom sacrifice for all of us.  

Highlights of the conference are as follows:

First: All the messengers were empowered to select whatever Bible passages they wanted based on the theme of the conference. Each messenger prepared with all their hearts and delivered fresh, heart moving and spirit filled messages 

Second: 15-second gens attended who invited new sheep, served special songs, and performed instruments during the meetings. Eight shared testimonies among the 20 sincere testimony speakers. 

Through this conference, they demonstrated their clear identity as UBF second gens by their eager desire to become disciples and disciple makers. 

Third:  In the afternoon hours of the second and third day, after everyone finished testimony writing,we had variety and field activities. They were all so joyful after playing games on the beach, sightseeing on the Serak Mountain, sports, and movie appreciation. 

Fourth: We had a proper division of labor with our senior and junior laymen shepherds. Juniors delivered messages and seniors led GBS and messenger training.  Through this, all Jongro UBF leaders happily participated in serving the work of God.
